So a new trailer is out for the new Sniper elite game can this game help revive the genre or save Rebellion's reputation as a developer?

The fact that it's WWII will mean nothing once people realize that it's going to be one of the most realistic sniper games out there, or at least the first one was. The first game you literally had to account for every variable when making your shot. Heart beat, wind direction and speed, gravity, even the sound of the shot. I really hope they keep all that stuff from the first game, I'll go batty if it turns out that the bullets can defy gravity.

Funnily enough, I find it a change to the constant stream of modern warfare games we have at the moment.

First one was fun, but it felt rather unpolished, I don't care that it's just another WW2 game. If they can fix up the stealth a bit, the movement and some of the shooting mechanics it would have improved upon its predecessor on all important grounds. I also would like a way to properly calculate wind deflection if the game supports it. Guessing bullet drop is annoying enough.
