This was free for what... 10 hours or so? I didn't see any advertisements on steam last night, and they typically give those front-page promotion...

Ah, escapist, its fine that you report things like teen stabbing a day late, but this was the news that should have been reported yesterday, you know, when we actually could use it.

Wow, between L4D2, Red Orchestra 2 and now this we've been getting a lot of free games lately haven't we?
Ironically, somone made a list of free PC games this year, and it was longer than the "50 dollar free" games on consoles. so much for your great free games i guess.

is this your first experience with WW2 extremists? they will use any and all excuse to push their propaganda, including videogame characters.

Soviets were almost just as bad as the Germans, I hate how people still forget the atrocities both sides did during the war, Soviets especially.
they were worse, actually. Hitler was killing people that do not fit his perfect society. Stalin killed everyone. They had more concentration camps, more war attrocities, to the point of forcing their soldiers to jump under tank tracks with explosives or they will kill his family. they let millions of ukrainians starve to death "Because otherwise they may want freedom". and their war attrocities didnt end when WW2 ended either. they held countries hostage for decades afterwards, forcibly enslaving their people. As much as we dont like Hitler, Stalin was far far worse. of course history books often ignore this, because after all they helped win the war right? as long as you win you can get away with anything.

The ONE time I have no access to Steam (on holidays)

Looks like i have to install Steam on this awful little laptop to get it, since I have people who want to play it co-op.
dont need to. login into the steam site and press the downlaod button. when prompted to download steam, cancel. the game stays in your library. thats how i did it from work.
