The funny thing is that Norton is widely regarded to be the worst anti-virus ever. Way to pick the losing horse Snoop Dogg!

Has anyone here actually listened to the songs some people have put up.
Yeah, i had a quick listen to a couple of them. I hope they are jokes because the competition doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Personally i think this is the funniest thing i have heard all year. Now all we need is Jay Z promoting Sage and I think we will have a good laugh all through next year.

Good for Snoop, I guess.

Lot of hate for Norton. I'm pretty sure that Norton still rates high up as internet security. I use Kaspersky so I wouldn't know how good Norton is, but all the reviews seem to be favorable to Norton.
Quite well, actually. They've tightened the program up considerably in the last few versions. Of course, I'm not declaring Norton the best (I loves me Avast!), but anyone who thinks it's worse than Trend Micro and McAfee is talking out of his arse.

Sorry Norton, but not even Snoop Dogg (With two 'G's!) will convince me that your "anti virus" software is worth two shits.

Maybe this only applies to Norton users with this much spam, I don't get that much spam and I've used Kaspersky and AVG but AVG is much less processor heavy

Snoop dogg is still prettty cool, he also does sat nav voices

(Youtube snip)
I still think Brian Blessed is the best Sat Nav.

Say what you will about Norton, it's easy to sell and it makes me a lot of commission. We're getting Kaspersky in soon, so I'll probably switch to that. The sales reps give us free testers :)

If I were to enter (and I am tempted) this compettition I would only being doing it for the laptop and the trip to LA. Once getting to LA I would most try my hardest to ditch Snoop Dogs management and go sight seeing. After recieving the laptop the first thing I would do is remove Norton and replace it with a different Anti-Virus.

Cybercrime may be no joke but I think Norton just became a joke with this...

I mean good grief, how is Snoop Dogg likely to discourage hackers?

<insert rant about how I despise Norton and its resource-hogging ways here>

But seriously? As if Norton isn't well known around the world, he could've joined some lesser-known anti-virus just to balance things out.

Considering how Snoop tends to have NO standards on what he'll show up for....I'm just thinking that this isn't really making much more than a sideshow attention getting like statement.

Hack truly is wack, but did they really need to point this out? Let's hope they manage to do some good though.

Might want to look up your terminology, Snoop, hacking is the creation of programs, cracking is breaking into systems.
Always bothered me with the media calling "cracking" "hacking" because it sounds better or something.

Damn Norton trying to snare me, but that won't work! I still have traumas from using Norton during my early teens. Snoop Dogg is someone i would have liked to front my product though. Sure his last couple of albums has been mediocre but back in the 90,s he was the shit. Also he's so laid-back that he becomes awesomely cool.

Wow, Snoop Dogg teaming up with Norton. What's next, Lars Ulrich teaming up with Napster against anti-piracy?

Too soon?

..so since when did "hacking" have anything to do with making viruses and sending spam?

I guess we can thank Geohot for that as well. You're a real star, man.
