When is next gen coming exactly?
When i was younger the systems kept improving.
When's the next system to come out?
I've heard of an add on for the Wii to improve graphics but nothing else.

Anyone else have any info on new system?

I've heard nothing of the sort. I think the current console generation's going to last a while, what with the recession and all.

We're probably just going to see a couple spin offs like Project Natal.

The video game has only had one company that was slow to release things and that was Sega.

Recession no ones going to be moving or trying ot one up anyone at the moment, sony lost money on the ps3 due to its price and if microsoft tries to up its hardware it'll mean the same thing and nintendo is well nintendo they'll milk the cheapest hardware they can for aslong as possible worked for them thus far.

well Nintendo we know won't stop making. The next Wii might be the last stationary system because they got everything right it. Playstation/ Sony needs to pick it self back up because of how it's doing today. XBox/ Microsoft can stop were it now I would have to say............ wellllllllllll scratch that they need to make another one to fix the insides up so RROD doesn't come back as much.

I do agree about the X-box 100%
The wii has in development a add on coming this year or next ( i can't remember) to "Enhance graphics"
I don't know that it's a lost cause but I'd agree that sony needs to do Something to help themselves.

Anyways, why do you want new consoles to come out soon? Haven't you paid enough to get any from this generation plus games? A newer one would only require more money to be spent. And considering the looks of most from this generation, we should be fine for a time.

Far from wanting another I'm against it. I'm glad to hear it's false, although I still think there will be another generation (maybe not PS, not for a will). I think that these visually demanding consoles are hurting gaming, as it makes each game more expensive to produce, meaning developers will take fewer risks with original stuff. However if they wheel out another generation they make more money from consoles acesserories etc. therefore it is quite likely there will be another generation while there is room for improvement.
