Did anyone else go see this movie? Because if you haven't I should warn you, the literal final scene of the movie is in the trailer. I couldn't believe as I was sitting in the theater waiting for the inevitable conclusion. Boo Hollywood, boo.

Anyway just curious if anyone else felt a similar disdain.

I had never heard of it until now. I have no desire to see that movie ever. It looks downright stupid.

It's a remake of (If I'm wrong correct me) a Spanish Horror film called [REC],
And [REC] was far superior than Quarantine

Some crappy movie my friend watched on pirate, on his laptop when i was around a friends house. It looked shitty. My friend kept shouting "RUN, *****, RUN!" at the screen though.

I heard the camerawork screwed this film over and out.

I mean, it may be "realistic", even though the zombie disease whatever isn't, but the fact that the camera is just a hand-camera, sucks.

Dont go see it. I did, and it was stupid. if you want to know really how stupid, watch Spoonyone's review (there's two or three parts).

It was terrible, a complete waste of my money and time, can someone please explain to me how the magical elevator was still able to function even though the power was cut off to the building early on in the film, I mean there wasn't even a simple explanation of there being a back-up generator that they turned on to get it working, nope, they just climbed in pressed the button and off they went.

Oh yeah, I read a review saying that they gave away quite a bit too much in the trailer for it...

That's the only time I've ever heard of something like that happening before, though.....Talk about a bad decision on the part of the studio that made the film...

I have to say, in a reverse, I was pleasantly surprised by 'Dead Set' a short series being released as a movie DVD, was shown on E4, and written and made by Charlie Brooker, the guy behind Nathan Barley and a lot of comedy stuff.

It sure wasn't a comedy, and the premise sounds awful but I thought actually was pulled off very well.

Its the new series of Big Brother, and after eviction night, there's a zombie outbreak and... well, I liked it!

I've heard some bad stuff about it, but overall, I would like to see it, just to see it for myself. I have a question, though.

What is the gore level in this movie? I really don't like gory movies, so I have to find the answer to this question for most horror movies today. If there's one scene somewhere that's really gory but makes sense, I'm okay, but if the characters are always just randomly end up getting hacked to gory bits and such, I'll avoid it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! That is funny. What? Some people running around with cameras like some gross amateurs? If that is good I would hate to see bad.

I have no idea what Quarantine is but will have to check it out.

EDIT: I watched the trailer. It looks like your average Zombie movie with bad camera work. I will Netflix it I suppose.

I haven't seen or plan to see Quarantine, but what was wrong with Cloverfield? It fit perfectly and it made it all the more intense. One of my first thoughts after watching the Quarantine trailer was that it was a pathetic attempt to rip off Cloverfield's excellent camera work.
I know cloverfeild was amazing

So...it's about Zombies. Hmm, I didn't know trapping the infection in a building full of people was a good idea.
