I would most likely have picked Alucard from the Hellsing Ultimate series but since I cannot i think I'd pick Byakuya kuchiki, his bankai is freaking crazy.

uh.... you people forget about goddamned goku from dragonball. By the end of the series (z) he can destroy a planet with one hand. Yeah, that's more then enough power to take on anything in any anime. period.
Once again, my bias for all things lightning-based shines through by picking Eneru from One Piece.
Combine the fact that my body turns to lightning the second anything comes in contact with me, along with the Mantra ability to forsee incoming attacks (by what basically amounts to glorified telepathy, at least until it's all explain in the most recent chapter) and nobody can harm me. Literally. Only one anime character can harm me, and I can harm him through other means. I win.
