Baccano!
Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Afro Samurai.
Toradora!

One of these is not like the other three :p.
Baccano! Because it has immortals!? And is awesome! I kid, I kid. I dunno. That's just one of my favorites. Thanks Pyramid Head Grape!

Final Answer: Afro Samurai

[small]Speaking of Samurai. The lack of Samurai 7... it pleases me.[/small]
Hahaha, I decided one day what I need is Samuel L. Jackson as a badass Afro Samurai.

The answer I was going for was audience :p, but then again it's proved null considering I watch the heavier stuff too. It's up to interpretation really, so you're right regardless!

Honestly, I've watched so many different ones over the years that I can't remember much. Only the awesome and awful stick out in my head. When I saw Toradora!, my brain just remembered a small cat. My age is starting to get to me. :(

Well if you have a moment, you might want to re-watch it. It's quite a happy anime which is why I loved it. That and I'm in High School right now :p.

Hardcore collector, too many anime to mention.
If you liked K-On/Nichi/Azu then you might want to look up GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class:
One of those hardly known of gems IMO.
Finally, someone who shares my love for GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class. That is to date one of my favorite anime, and I am so disappointed that it only got 12 episodes + an OVA/special. It can be pretty confusing though for people who aren't very interested in art or color and composition admittedly though.
Have you read the manga? That anime follows the manga quite closely in art style and story but the manga is on-going. Also if you loved her work in GA, check out Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro also done by the same manga-ka.

No, I haven't read the manga. I didn't even know it had one. The website I read manga on doesn't carry it sadly. I have heard of Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro though (someone in my theater class was reading it a few years ago), so I may check that out. Thanks!

Yeah. Genre doesn't really matter to me. If it's entertaining, I'll watch. So yeah, I'll have to do that.

EDIT: I looked it up on wikipedia. Don't remember it at all! I don't think I've even watched it. How the hell did I know about the cat!?

My list ordered by rating. Yes, I honestly believe Kanon is that bad.

So yeah, anime's a big thing for me. I've been watching for about a year and just started again after a short break, I'm trying hard to get through Cromartie (don't know why it's so hard to watch, I love it to bits) and I have Evangelion on the side too, which is great fun so far.

Favourites would be NHK, Nana and School Rumble.

Guilty pleasure?
High School of the Dead
it has plenty of reasons for me to hate it, yet I can't force myself to hate it :/
I take that show as a huge joke, and I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to. It's great stuff.

Oh, and I just got Denpa Onna to Seishin Otoko, which looks like fun. I hope it doesn't fall apart like Index, because I'm getting a very "Index" vibe from it. It also gives me vibes of the terrible ecchi shows that Katou Tatsuya makes music for. Not sure why.
Just curious, what do you mean when you say Index fell apart? It definitely had it's flaws (accelerator not making full use of his god-mod powers being one that particularly sticks out to me), but overall, I thought it was still great, and I hope it gets another 2 seasons to finish up the current story.

I love watching anime. Though I'm way to lazy to list everything I've watched. But among it is Lucky Star, Azumanga, all of Gundam SEED, both seasons of Gundam 00, Like half of Bleach, Soul Eater, High School of the Dead. I'm sure there are way more but I'm too lazy to pull them out of my head. Currently I'm watching Pumpkin Scissors, love the whole "this is essentially post-WWI Germany" thing. Next I think I'm going to start Chrome Shelled Regios. Or finally get around to finishing Burst Angel. ALSO I need to buy the 2nd Volume of the Steins:Gate DVD's. End of volume one got really god damn dark o_O

I used to watch a hell of a lot of anime. But I haven't really watched any though since going to university a year and a bit ago, but here's my list

I know for a fact that it isn't complete, but it would take WAY too long to check what I've missed.

I realise this thread is essentially just showing off about various things and being kind of elitist... but hey, I've apparently watched over 2 months of anime. I have to try and get some kind of satisfaction out of that.

Salvan from The Escapist wrote a rather seething review on Kanon too. I'm surprised that even though you hated it that much as to put it last, you still watched all 24 episodes.

Personally I loved it, and subsequently played the VN multiple times and watched the 2002 adaptation too. The 2002 version had a much more satisfying ending, but the art by KyoAni and VA talent brought in was much improved.

People will hate me for saying this, but personally I thought Air was much worse than Kanon. The ending annoyed me so much with its little twist I remember shouting "OH FUCK THAT" and storming off.
K-kawaii....
uuuuuuu~

Well the main character's friend is dubbed the "Palmtop Tiger," so maybe it's from promotional material. She is often seen with a small tiger which can be mistaken for a cat. Yes I know tigers are technically cats :p.

Loved anime for yeaars since I was little in the 90's watched toonami, with shows like: outlaw star, DBZ, gundam, tenchi muyo, cowboy bebop and a lot more. Loved it for its over the top action like dragonball and having intreasting ploits like in G Wing that had bad guy weren't a bunch 1 dimensional saturday morening cartoon villions. can't remember how good the plouit was since i haven't seen it in years but still noteing it.

Low I didn't learn that it was medum of its own till high school when a old friend told me that it was made in japan and they called it anime. Then thanks to the internet which only just got a few weeks after that talk. that i found all kinds of shows ( at this point tonami was idea gone or was realy going down hill.) and wen't on and spent most of my time in hight school watching anime.

Over the years I'v watched a number of anime like shows that came out weekly in Japin at one point even some of the bad one's. But for the last year or so, my intreast has died down a little. I stop caring for the craper showns but also some of the good ones. Like blue exorcist, deadman wonderland and angel beats. I plan to finsh them but then im bored and think too myself I could watch them, I just don't feal up to it for some reason. Havent stop altoger but i'm starting to be more into some western cartons like young justice, spectacular spider man, and transformers prime. witch I find more engaging and down right more friling at times that any anime as for a sometime.

But I doubt i'll be given up anime any time soon.

-Cowboy Bebop
-Trigun
-Hellsing
-Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting!
-FLCL

My rule seems to be on reflection:"Only watch anime series if they have incredible music."

There are so few anime series that are consistently good from start to finish, it takes so much more effort to make a series than a feature. I think that's why I like more anime features than series.
