So... Anyone else a "Closet Nerd"?

I'm pretty much a total nerd, and I make no effort to hide it. If the wardrobe full of hilarious t-shirts with nerdy designs/slogans on them doesn't give it away, then talking to me for more than five minutes will.

So at my high school today I realized I'm kind of a "closet nerd". I'm Senior, Defensive line Captain of the football team (american), hang out with the "jocks" and work out reguarly. But most people are suprised when the hear I'm and Avid gamer, Star wars fan, movie buff, watch anime, and role play online.

has anyone else felt this way or know some one like this, because I feel kind of wierd.

I have been a nerd my whole life, so I cant relate I am a high functioning nerd though, that fit in with a lot of crowds

Nope or well I keep quiet about most of the anime I watch and manga I read since it isn't really anything I would ever discuss with anyone.

Hehe closet nerd extrodinaire here! my ex of the past 3 years helped me climb out abit but im right back in there now :3 my work collegues and friends have no idea im pushing nats level at magic the gathering xD
