I remember MW2 release, this board was filled with so many mewtwo related threads.
BC2 doesnt seem to have that effect.
or everybody is busy trying to figure out how to pilot the chopper?

I have it on pre-order, but I'm not allowed to have it for another month.

Curse you, parental units!

IMO it's just another FPS... I'm sure it'll be good and all but I've got my fill of generic run and gunning with MW2.

I've played it and I find it to be a solid experience. The whole EA Online glitchiness is the one real area of annoyance. I've always preferred the combined arms approach of the Battlefield series over Call Of Duty.

Maybe it's so good that people don't bother to surf the boards and play the game instead.

At least I'd hope so... I want that game so fucking bad.

Played the demo, played like a poor man's Modern Warfare 2. I'm skipping this one.
Wow.

I played it and loved it. Thought it felt better than MW2. It feels more war-like.
You have tanks ripping the environment apart around you, explosions going off everywhere, the sound of guns blazing and your teammates yelling out information mixed with expletives and some amazing graphics.

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, but I don't like MW2. It's a fun game and I enjoy it, but when I play it I get an uncomfortable "It's the last day of summer, school starts tomorrow" sensation or a neck-ache. Which is odd, since I never played this game summer (obviously) and I never get neck aches playing other games.

MW2 was good, but it grew old. i tried to vary the experience. like going gangsta with dual uzis and deagles. only using t.knife etc...
i need something different now. bought it a long time ago, but release date is 5th here.

That's a good point the combo of vehicles is fun.

Personally I don't play a ton of online FPS but just starting to get back into MW2 (lvl 26 wewt wewt). So for me it's a little uncessary to get BC2. But, I did really like BF:1942 and that whole vehicle combat stuff, and I played BC1 at a friends house before and quite liked it. I guess I'm a little on the fence tho with some big releases coming out soon.

As to the choppers, man, I had the BF:1942 modern combat mod way back when, and I recall how fun and horribly difficult those are to fly. Takes a real light touch. But I think it must be better with a console controller right?
