Who are you guys rooting for, Sony Nintendo or Microsoft?

I'm actually rooting for both Sony and Nintendo to do well. Sony could basically win this one by just saying the magic words "No DRM and no online required" and drop the mic and they win instantly. Well that, and they show some excellent games to play on the PS4 as well. Nintendo is alright and with Microsoft's recent announcement, they totally look way better than the Xdone. Also they got some really cool looking games coming out for the WiiU as well. As for Microsoft, yeah, I'm not going to get my hopes....at all.

Why do so many people insist on using the word "literally" when they mean figuratively?


I'm not rooting for anyone. I am hoping that Sony and Nintendo won't disappoint. I don't even care what games Microsoft has in store. I'm not getting that thing if it were the only video gaming system in the world. There's plenty of other sources of entertainment that don't spy one me or impose idiotic limitations. Things like books, for example.

I'm just going for a fourth option and just root for sanity.

There's some unsettling rumors going on with used games and DRM that I'm just want some company to not be so damn anti-consumer.

As of right now, Sony does seem more friendly, but then again Microsoft is giving Sony's PR a lot of solids here. However, that just remains to be seen and I just want one company to not be an asshat. That said, for me I want to make sure the PS4 is something that I really want to throw my money at.

To me, ultimately it doesn't matter who "wins". I'll just enjoy the games that are revealed at the expo, no matter what console they're on (except WiiU.. I'll never buy a WiiU.)

In all seriousness though, I'm going for Sony. I do love my Playstations.
