I've been trying to form a band for some time now, and I've just recently finished getting a drummer. So I've been taking some time to think out what style of music I should play. I just figured play what I like, which happens to be thrash, death, and black metal mostly with a mix of oldies and old rock n' roll. So I guess I'd check with you guys and see if such a combination would work. I won't do modern american or any prog in my metal, nor will I do typical euro-metal. And I will never, NEVER play any Led Zepplin.
