Hmm... probably Paganitsu. CGA colors (aka 4) and yes, on a floppy... though not the original larger floppies that were actually bendable without removing the casing.

Lion Game & Watch 1981.

I used to own a Computer Space Arcade machine from 1971 but I sold it for a trip around the world.

I have an Amstrad CPC 464 somewhere and bunch of cassettes for it. Oldest PC game I own is Anvil of Dawn, a massive RPG with an awesome world and multiple ways to progress and finish it. I was 13 and it blew my fucking mind.

I would say the original Silent Hill. I managed to buy it at a game station for something like 99p...I don't think they realised what a gem they had! Allthough it didn't have its original box or it's leaflet, the disk played well. And it turned me onto the legendary series silent hill is! I am so glad I managed to find it!

I still have a copy of "Pokemon: Red" for Game Boy. Bad news is, I can't play it :(
I don't have any type of Game Boy to play it on, and my DS Lite doesn't play any original Game Boy games (only GB Advance), so I'm screwed.

Despite previously having an Amstrad with a collection of old games I'll say the oldest hard copy of a game I have would be 1992's Kirby's Dreamland. It's probably in my parent's attic along with my most-likely still functional grey brick Gameboy.

I have darklands for the pc, its on 11 x 5 1/4" floppy disks, I found it at a garage sale like 8 years ago. So get this, In order to use the files I found an old 5 1/4 drive and hooked it up along with a 3 1/2 drive on an old 386 machine and copied all the disks onto the new floppies. Upon copying all the disks, I was then able to access the files on a new machine, and created disk images of them.

The trailer for the game

I also have a copy of I think its Gabriel Knight 2, suddenly I feel very old typing this up.

Lol I popped up the readme file from the installer and figured you might have a quick laugh from this one...

Darklands requires about 17,500,000 bytes (17.5 MB) of hard disk
space. This includes about 16 MB of files, plus approximately
another 1.5 MB of temporary storage, first for high speed
installation, and then reused as temporary file storage during play,
including a reasonable number of saved games.

All I've got is stuff from my N64, but hey, I'm making a portable one soon for the reason of being able to keep playing it for many more years in places other than my house, so yeah. I love it ^.^

Rayman for the Playstation I think. I was about 6 when I got that, so in fact it was for Christmas '95. Still works too.
High five!
Though I have to admit, mine is re-bought, since my old copy died.
Otherwise, it's a bunch of other Playstation games like Tomb Raider III or "Porsche Challenge".

The oldest games I currently own are Sim Earth - 1990 and Lemmings - 1991. Both have both 3 1/2 and 5 1/4 floppies. Better still I have an old floppy drive floating around somewhere (not that I would actually connect it up). Both still have the complete box and manuals etc. The lemmings one in particular is epic because it is basically a comic showing the game. I also have Sim Life which is slightly newer but deserves a mention for it's epic manual. I miss the days of being able to read a manual like a short novel and the amazing detail put into them. Baldur's Gate (and 2) have some of the best game manuals that I can remember. This thread should now be about the best game manuals you still own!
