I just pickled up a copy of Dr. Mario with the box and manual. That isn't as old as Mario Land on the GB I know but Zelda 2: Link's Adventure is a bit older, having released in the US in December of 88. So that's my new, oldest game!

Pokemon Yellow. First game I ever owned. I still fire it up to pummel the Elite Four every now and then.

Some googling says that LEGEND OF ZELDA (NES) is older than Back to the Future (1989) Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt bundle (1988) and Total Recall (1990). In 1986!

Solid Gold.

I have a bunch of old Vectrex games sitting in my garage that date from 1982-83. Unfortunately the console itself is busted, so I can't play them anymore.

I'm thinking of getting a replacement unit so I can relive the good old days. It's been too long since I played a round of Minestorm.
This. So much this.

I still have a Vectrex myself, all the carts except for two of them. I feel kind of bad for you though; my machine still works after a bit of blowing. XD Good luck on finding another machine. You'll need it.

I'm only counting it because I think it might still be lying around in my closet somewhere (I swear, that thing's so deep and cluttered you'd have thought it was a portal to another dimension or something), but I would have to say that it would be Looney Tunes for the Gameboy/Gameboy Color.

the oldest pc game i own (but sadly cant play) is the original age of empires! it was the first game i ever played and left the greatest impression on me..now that i think about it, i own every game in the series!
As much as i love other games like skyrim, red faction gorilla, TF2 and more recent games i will forever be a loyal fan of the AOE series!

I have Frogger, Donkey Kong, and couple other for atari 2600 with the system. They still worked last year when i found the system and decided to play them for a while. I keep all my old system and the game I have for them. I know there is a locked box somewhere in my attic with a commador 64 and a collecovision with some games for them but I cant remember what they are.

Myst

It's been forever since I've played it though.
I think this is my oldest too. Was one of the first games I played, given it came out when I was three or four!

Riven is the one that feels older though, given it had about 5 different disks that had to be changed mid-game lol

The original C&C Red Alert, Which I find impressive, because the game is nearly as old as I am
