Usually people who still bully in college are the assholes that no one cares about.

OT: Really, the best defense is to lash out on the first obvious offense.

I learned that if you take it for too long, it doesn't really end good. I finally had enough one day when some kid kept making fun of what I said, which kind of became a meme at my Jr. High school.

One day I snapped, followed him into the lockers are and pushed him face first into the lockers. Lots of people saw, and that kind of was the end of the bad phase in my school life. High School wasn't that bad for me.

I go to the nerdiest of public schools here, a strange place exempt from the standard High School caste system. Pretty much all the smart kids have classes together and there is basically one giant clique for all of the AP students, so we just sort of all hang out together. People come and go as they please, some change around, but just so long you aren't an asshole, you're just fine. Nobody holds grudges, and we're for the most part separated from the kind of people who would be a problem. Have only had one or two kids, but we shared classes so infrequently that it ceased to be a problem after one year.

OT: One time this asshole was making fun of my stutter. He got his friend to hit me in the face. I broke his nose.

Ah! A fellow stutterer..erer. Never met another one before. Guess technically I still haven't....I've mostly grown out of it, still have a little bit of trouble with my Ps and Ks and Ts.

OT: Physical bullying has never been a problem at my school as far I as I know, and I'm a senior, so I've had 3 years to observe. It's basically rumors and words that are the ammunition people use. There's only a few people at my school who I'd consider true dicks (because that's the only side anybody sees). Everyone else seems fine, but I know that's not entirely true.

Where I used to live, I was pretty much universally shat on for being as nerdy as I am. Then I moved to my current town where the jocks et al are the minority, and the fact that I play video games and read all the time make me a respected community member.

I was kinda lucky I was the quiet kid who minded his own business. So that made people think I was crazy and subject to going on a a killing spree. So no one really messed with me but I was invisible to most of the school body anyway. But I was bugged by two guys in middle school but I guess they had nothing better to do with their lives cause as far as I know they never made it past the sixth grade.

Ehh... yeah. It was predominantly in elementary school. I went to a private school from pre-school until the second semester of my 9th grade year, and when I was in elementary school kids picked on me all the time because I cried really easily. I didn't have any friends there for a really long time and I used to force myself to be sick in order to stay home.

When I was in the 8th grade, a girl who made my life hell from 1st grade onward was picking on me in, of all things, Bible class. I ended up breaking her index finger on her desk and the teacher didn't even look up. Shortly after that I moved to a charter school where my mother taught English, and as she was one of the most popular teachers in school, I was quickly accepted by the kids there.

So, yeah, I was bullied for a great deal of my life, but I don't have any particular "success stories" (beyond finger breaking) to share. People left me alone after that, though, 'til I moved schools.

I'm serious, this kind of thing would get anyone thrown out of whatever college they went to, no matter how much the bully "had it coming", you'd get sued and be in jail if this were true.

I hate how this is the way the world is now. Way back when people got into scraps all the time. It was never a big deal people just always fought. Now it's like whenever you so much as raise a fist against someone, no matter what the circumstance, you're always at fault. It's bullshit.

I had a study hall every tuesday and there was this one kid who would go out of his way to screw with me, he'd take my stuff when I wasn't looking push me call me names and get his friend's to join in. I tried to get the teacher to stop it and she didn't care enough so one day he starts in on me as usual but I had brought 3 of my friends in the room so when he started I punched him and we grabbed him then dragged him into the hall and broke his nose a few ribs and I think one or two fingers.

In my past, I was fat, clumsy, awkward, and weird. I was mocked and made fun of, but never outright attacked.

Today, in my senior years of high school, I'm a rather outlandish person. I do get picked on for being eccentric and odd - in both tone of voice, and speech pattern - but I was so off their scale of being a person that people wouldn't even qualify me as a target.

It really is a fun school life that I am currently experiencing.

Uhhh...I've always been pretty popular, so I never had to deal with bullying. Looks like not being some sort of awkward social introvert pays off.

I was bullied mercilessly throughout middle school and into high school. I never fought back because I had a little martial arts training and they always drill you not to fight over something trivial so I let it slide. Once I got into sports in high school and people realized how fast and strong I was, the bullying ended pretty quick. Around Junior year I started standing up for myself but never really got into a fight because all I had to do was stand up straight and look em in the eye and even the kids who were bigger than me realized they didn't want to start anything. You live, you learn. I got over it.

Once I was trying to fix a printer in shop class and this one cocky guy grabs the paper out of my hand while making fun of me. I don't remember exactly what he said, but it forced me to grab the paper back with one hand and give him a good shove with the other. He proceeded to walk back to me ready for a fight...I stood up straight and tall,

Another time I was walking with a friend to his house and these stoner/skater types started aggravating/making fun of us. Again, I don't remember exactly what they said...but I yell that my dad was a cop and could get a blood test from them if needed. One asked, "For what?", I say, "for whatever he might need."...they decided to stay away from us.
My friend asked me the next day if my dad was a cop, to which I smirked and said, "Of course not".

Also I am tall and I'm not a push over...
I never had to resort to violence, but I'd love to have the chance to prove my self in a fight.

I don't like bullies, and not just the dumb brutes that throw their weight around but the nerd bullies that try to make you feel dumb too, because their really just two sides of the same coin. The sad thing is a lot of the people that complain about the brutes are bullies themselves.

Wasn't really bullied during my school years.

Although there was this one kid when I was 7 or 8 years old. I don't know why but for some reason, this one day he decided to start following me and my friends around on the playground during recess, although the kid was a grade lower than us. He started saying some weird things about me and my friends and for some reason started to poke me in the back, pull at my jacket and my hair, after telling him to stop it, which of course he didn't, I chased him around the playground, managed to corner him, grab him by the throat and told him to stop being an ass. Shortly after this, a teacher showed up and told us to break it up.
I have no idea why he decided to pick on us, but his little adventure didn't last long, never saw that kid again.

I reacted the way I did because of something my parents told me. Two years prior to that I had broken my foot whilst playing a very stupid game of dare with a car, two days after that in school a classmate thought that it might be fun to take a skelter (those little car-like things with pedals ) and drive over my foot, don't know if this was done by accident or intentional. Whatever the case, I reported this to the teacher and she just told me to shrug it off, I was flabbergasted by this; A kid had done something wrong yet the authority figure present in this case didn't even bother to at least talk to the kid. When I got home I told this to my parents and they basically told me that teachers are 'useless' in these kinds of situations and that although some will have your back, most won't do a thing about it and that I should just punch the next kid that hurt me in school and let my parents worry about the teachers if any of them were to get mad at me for punching someone.

In the end though, I never got into fights in school and never punched anyone. So, aside from that one story, I'm not really a violent guy.

Nobody makes fun of me because I can be incredibly threatening. I don't take that crap. People know this.

EDIT: Then again, before I established myself this way, when I was a little kid, I was picked on all the time. I cried a lot. This stopped. People have now backed off.

I was bullied, I fought it for awhile, then dropped out... turns out that when your family treats you like garbage, you're poor, and you live in an area of town that is middle class in a town which is retardedly expensive to live in, with a HUGE income gap... and you don't have a father, or a brother, or any family members to relate to about anything to do with being a guy and going through puberty, it kinda sucks, you don't understand anything that's going on, you hate yourself, and you begin to hate everyone else around you...
When I was about to snap, with no friends only enemies, who i was at the time planning to kill off one by one, in a variety of different ways, including but not limited to arson and blunt impact trauma with say, a baseball bat. I got to thinking, if I go down this road... I will prove them all right... suicide was my endgame plan too by the way... I dropped out of school, to save myself the daily torment, and all that crap... spent the next 6 years of my life virtually alone, reading things, watching people, learning about the world around me, and devising philosophies and plans to better my existence and that of anyone I cared for...

so here I am, I am calm, I am alive, and I am pretty much fucked for a future in any known way and will probably work myself to death in a low pay labour job never able to afford a house, never able to start a family, and generally just alone...

I mean not that I really care, my life is just the blink of an eye in the grand scheme of things, and I may be hit by a car or something in a week, and then I won't have to worry about trying to scrape by with no education and no real qualifications beyond basic first aid and food safe, and some other arbitrary shit...

anyhow sorry if I'm a big downer amongst all of these rousing victory tales, but I'm not given to lying about my life, because guess what! Nobody cares, nobody will use this information against me in any way that could screw me over any worse than I already have.

I was bullied all through middle school up until my last year before high school (8th grade for those who don't know). I never fought back or said anything back ever, until one day I was jumped from behind. Never knew the reason behind being targeted. The guy jumped on my back and started punching me in the back of the head, I flipped him over my shoulder and kicked him in the side, needless to say with all the adrenaline I actually lifted him off the ground with the kick. That is when everyone that picked on me realized that it probably wasn't a good idea anymore.

High School I pretty much was friends with everyone, never knew why I was bullied to begin with.
