Mine is currently collecting dust, i would play it, but i can't be on XBL at the same time =\ and i like being in party's with my friends. A HD remake is more than welcome in my eyes.Terminate421 said:Before anyone says it
THIS IS NOT A FUCKING CASHGRAB
A halo 2 remake would be nice, we have this long extended story that some are not exposed to so a remake of a very popular game would be nice to see. Plus, you can probably tell its aged about the same way as World of Warcraft.

I did play it the other day though, it was still hella fun.
I would think to see it next year, it will only be a HD remake, not a complete overhall of the game. remember the first Halo Remake came in 2011.TheSapphireKnight said:If 343 keeps to the same 3 year timeline that all the other core games have had then I would bet on seeing a Halo 2 Anniversary in 2014 as a content rap up like ODST was for Halo 3 and CEA was for Reach.
CE: 2001
H2: 2004
H3: 2007
Reach: 2010
H4: 2012(development started before Reach released) than I
H5:2015?
These expansion type games tend to be released the year before the next release which happily coincides with Halo 2's 10 year Anniversary.
Halo 2 is the only game in the series that really still needs an update. Although I am fairly confident 360 games will be backwards compatible in the next gen. Both Sony and Microsoft would have to be colossally stupid to not include backwards compatibility after this long of a cycle.
That said I wouldn't expect them to make last gen xbox games compatible with this upcoming generations. It would be odd to leave just one game in your flagship series high and dry in the next console cycle
Damn straight- or even this one...Tanis said:Why not a better game, like Timesplitters: HD Collection.
