Howdy All,

Been on a serious Giant Robot Anime Kicker lately and I'm looking for something new to watch and because this is off-topic I'm sure there are a million suggestions just waiting to be found.

What I've already seen and liked:
- Everything Macross (Frontier, Zero, Plus, 7, Original, Robotech)
- All UC Gundam (0079, 8th MS Team, Stardust Memory, Victory, Zeta... you get the idea)
- Armored Trooper VOTOMS
- The Big O
- Eureka 7
- Martian Successor Nadesico
- Vandread
- Neon Genesis Evangelion
- Rahxephon
- Gurren Lagann
- Gunbuster
- Patlabor
- Escaflowne

What I've already seen and didn't like:
- Gundam 00
- Gundam Wing
- Gundam SEED/SEED Destiny

So... what you guys got for me?

You know what you need to watch? Turn A Gundam. The premise is amazingly unique and almost has an H.G. Wells feel at first (technology on Earth has regressed to about around 19th century standards, and a small town is invaded by Moon people). Also, Syd Mead, who worked on designs for Blade Runner and Tron, and a lot of Sci-Fi book covers, did some of the mechanical designs, namely the titular Gundam.

Turn A Gundam is actually next on my list of stuff to watch as I've seen the first few episodes of it and loved them. I just plan on watching it with my wife so I've been holding off until she wants to watch it.

I don't like them. Giant Robots and other vehicles aren't my thing. When I see fighting I prefer humans swrodfighting or other melee weapons. Or melee weapons versus monsters.

Not much of a mecha fan, but I did love Muv Luv Alternative

Though its a visual novel and not an anime[footnote] Theres a prequel anime, but I'm not hearing good things about it.[/footnote], but it has really great visuals.
