So how old are you?

The title of this thread may be a bit decieving, but do you ever find yourself playing a game and wondering what the character's ages are?
I know it seems like a trivial matter, but for a lot of games I honestly find myself wondering this.
It can be from any work, it doesn't have to be games.

This thread was brought on by visiting the Dragon Age Wiki and one set of articles lead me to question just how old is one of your party members, Leliana?
There was a point where in her stand alone DLC she meets an elf who happens to be the mother of one of the possible characters you can play as, and it turns out that the character is fairly young at that point.
One train of thought lead to another...
So has anyone else thought something like that, or am I just overthinking an unimportant detail?

A bit of over-thinking has been had, as it is a completely useless detail about a character, but I am guilty of wondering this myself. Few games to my knowledge reveal the age of the characters, which would include all the Jak and Daxter games, and Fable (the first/best one).

That doesn't seem all that odd to me.. you picture her younger or older?

She always seemed younger to me...but then, the three main characters (Crono, Marle, Lucca) always seemed to be in their early-to-mid teens to me. Personality quirks and mannerisms and the like.

I thought she was 15, maybe 16 at most, since all the major earlygame characters live with their parents in what is clearly the Japanese gaming mold of teenage protagonists.
