So, how was your weekend?

Just wondering if anything interesting happened in your life.

I decided NOT to go out and drink away and instead volunteered to do some community yardwork for the reserve's elders on Saturday. Had to destroy some hornet nests as well. Fucking got stung more than a couple times. Also watched the Pacquiao/Bradley fight. Let's just say boxing is rigged. Watched the hockey game. I'm pulling for the NJ Devils to make an epic comeback, mostly because the Kings eliminated the Canucks. On Sunday I attended my godchild's first communion. So many kids asking me for money. The after-communion party had the best food ever: Bacon Lasagna, KFC, Chinese food, locally caught lobster and some great potato salad. Was going to check out True Blood, but got distracted with finishing the Riddler challenges on Arkham City.

I watched the English cricket team humiliate themselves against Tino Best. That was long ting.

I didn't do much, went to view some houses and then played on Eternal Sonata which is a great game. It was all well and good until this morning, woke up to find a spider in my bed. I freaked out, but I did manage to kill it without going into a panic attack which means my arachnophobia is improving!

Doing assignments, playing Day Z and watching my House DVD sets, not bad to be honest.

My girlfriend and I took our five month old Dachshund (Wiener Dog) to a dog walk to support the local animal shelter Saturday morning. Some how my state (Eastern Washington) never got the memo that it's June so we waited around with other dog owners in pouring rain and wind in 45 degree weather for an hour. Our dog was wearing two shirts and a jacket and we still had to keep her wrapped in a blanket before the thing started. When it was time to do the actual walk we set Bebe-Q down on the ground and she was not having that shit. So we bailed and went out for Mongolian BBQ.

We went to Hu-Hot and for dessert we got S'mores at our table. Yeah, they brought out a little grill thing with a pot filled with some sort of blue stuff that fueled a pretty good sized flame. Even had small skewers for the marshmallows. That kinda made up for the shit start to the morning.

I woke up today thinking it was Friday, I feel so low ;_;

I passed time Saturday and spent it in an All you can eat Chinese and then watching MIB3 in the Cinema. I'd give it 6/10, wouldn't go out of my way to see it again and would turn it over if on TV.

Well last weekend was the next Guild Wars 2 beta. Not only that but my brother was over since he got a week off from work for the Jubilee and my uncle asked my parent to sleep over cos the house he lived had been sold (he kind of lived in Manchester at the moment).

So I pretty much show the both of them of the gameplay while I had to explain why it was great to my uncle since he know nothing about computer games (it was funny how I had to explain about women armour as he mention they had large breast).

Saturday we went to the local Chinese restuarant with my other relative who were over. Despite I wanted to tell them about my new job my bro was getting all the attention. Ok fair enough they rarely see him at all while I'm more of a regular over here. As usual the food were great despite the waitress had gave a couple of them the wrong orders (not me).

Anyway my bro left in the afternoon and my uncle left in the evenning so I had the game to myself yesterday.

I went on a boat with some friends. I couldn't go tubing because of my wrist, but it was fun to watch them fly off comically.

Um...My mother and I have decided to have a Batman marathon. All six batman movies back-to-back. Aside from that, I just started me work on two new characters in Mass Effect since I found my disc for the first game. I have to say, I don't remember the first game's combat being THIS bad. Something's gotta be up.

Anywho, I'm rolling with a Ruthless soldier. My plan for him is that he falls for Ashley but she gets killed. I'm unsure if he should go for Jack or Miranda though. The second is a femshep who I'm probably going to have as a more cruel women. I kind of want the Femshep to be a secretly evil type person, where as the renegade Shepard is more...out there in your face. So he's not getting them surgery things.

If anyone's curious, my first Shepard was ultimately a good guy, much like myself. Belief in peace, but that peace must be fought for. Always take the diplomatic approach before the shoot out, but he mad some hard ball moments every now and then. His love interest was Tali, as she reminded me a lot of my girlfriend at the time, and was definitely someone I'd choose to date over anyone else on the ship. He was an Infiltrator, and took a very badass appeal of walking in and quickscoping anyone dumb enough to leave cover. Felt good a lot of the time.

I took Friday off and we went clothes shopping.... I bought 2 new regular-priced shirts - first time I haven't bought clothes on sale in ages. Saturday did some grocery shopping with my mom as my dad was out of town, and started up a new game of Pokemon Pearl. Then I basically did nothing but play that all weekend. My sister started a new game of Dragon Quest VIII for the ps2. I made pork chops last night, too.

Torchlight needs to come out soon.

I went for a short run on Saturday, but asides from that didn't really do much. I'm trying a 100% runthrough of AC Revelations, so a lot of my time has been dedicated to that.

It was fun. I went on an overnight camping trip from Friday to Saturday, played quite a bit of LA Noire, and recently hit 100 posts on the Escapist. *Blows noise maker*

I spent my whole weekend being bedridden, having twisted my knee on the previous wednesday and am still recovering. On the plus side this put a dent in my netflix queue, and I got to see both of the awesome Ip Man movies, rewatch Firefly and Serenity, and beat inFamous 2 again (Good ending this time, even though I think it would be better for humanity long term to go with the evil ending).

So it was both good and bad at the same time.

Girlfriend got sick so we couldn't hang out friday night.

Spent Saturday morning trying to work on a research proposal for a summer class due Tuesday. I am not a freakin' engineer. Why is this course asking me to make an engineering research proposal? And why are they asking me to add my qualifications WHEN I HAVE NONE?!

Spent Saturday evening at my younger brother's Graduation. Was pretty cool, I guess.

Sunday morning worked on research proposal. Spent some time on break FINALLY giving Demon's Souls a try. Loved it. Died once, ran for my life multiple times. Still loved it. Worked more on the proposal.

In the evening, I decided to try out that harvest moon game (magical melody) that I had bought years ago so I could have something fun but relaxing to play before bed. ...Shut it off within a half hour because I can't stand that the whole town is in one area that all looks the same. @_@ Why do I have so much trouble finding a fantastic harvest moon game?! Every one I've played since Mineral town has had some problem! Rune factory 1+2 on the DS didn't keep my attention, RF Frontier has the fucking runeys that ruin the whole otherwise-perfect thing, and Magical melody has the town that I get lost in and looks boring because it's all in one place! AAAAAH!!!

Since I have no classes on Monday, I am trying to finish this stupid proposal. I have 6 out of 7-9 pages done, and...I think I may overshoot the limit...Also, some parts kinda really suck huge amounts of ass.

Sooo...My weekend was pretty meh.
