So, How's 'Bad Company 2'?

I think (?) that it's been released already, and I'm sure that some people have had the game for awhile if it hasn't been released.

I ask this because the demo isn't all that great to me (the game mode kinda sucked IMO, I got tired of gold rush from the first BC game) and it still felt very similar to the original.

Is it as good as the legions of fans would tell you? Or is it worth just a rent, no more, no less?

Actually I've not played it but the reviews say it's mediocre, and if anything worse than the first. I guess it's turned into a CoD rip + vehicles. But again, that's just what I read.

These reviewers are the ones that say that COD MW2 is the second coming of Jesus. I wouldn't trust reviewers as far as I could throw them.

I'm actually really liking the game.

It isn't as fun as the first, but it's better than Modern Warfare 2, and by god, it has the best sound design I've ever experienced. Very functional game that I'm enjoying quite a lot.

And I've only played the single player!
