Never had a problem with amazon. Pre-order games through them fairly often. Not to be an ass, but did you actually look at your shopping history? If it lists the version you actually wanted, you have a point. If it doesn't well its your screw up.

I've pre-ordered from Amazon, but they were mostly movies or anime box sets. I rarely ever pre-order games anymore. I manage to find copies in the stores no problem, even on day 1. I haven't had any issues with Amazon, but you do have to be careful on it regardless. Because of how big it is and because so many people sell through it, if you're not careful you could be giving away banking information. That's why whenever I do order, I always go through trusted sources, namely the companies that are publishing the games and movies themselves.

I most certainly did, Xbox 360 version, clear as day.

i really have to question there is no ps3 version of the game in the email so why mention that one at all and I've had no problems pre-ordering since for the most part its only anime movies i ordered
