Here's how it goes:
1. Go to Wikipedia
2. Hit "random article"
3. Read said article
4. Post something from what you find,
5. ????????
6. Profit!Knowledge!

Though, since it's from wikipedia, fell free to add your own edits. It is, in fact, generated by the people.

Here's mine:

From -- "Mr. Mxyzptlk, sometimes called Mxy, is a fictional supervillain who appears in DC Comics' Superman comic books.

Originally, Mxyztplk has designs on conquering the planet for himself, but soon settles for tormenting Superman whenever he gets the opportunity."

Doesn't this seem slightly less ambitious than world domination to anybody else?

::EDIT:: Sorry for not posting this in the Forum Games section. I was not aware that particular thread existed elsewhere.

Rhynchosaurs were a group of unusual Triassic diapsid reptiles related to the archosaurs. They were herbivores, and at times abundant (in some fossil localities accounting for 40 to 60% of specimens found), with stocky bodies and a powerful beak.

Small nucleolar RNA SNORD30 (U30) is a member of the C/D class of snoRNA which contain the C (UGAUGA) and D (CUGA) box motifs. U30 is encoded within the U22 snoRNA host gene (UHG) in mammals[1] and is thought to act as a 2'-O-ribose methylation guide for ribosomal RNA.[2]

Damn good information to know, damn good. It's good to know that my snoRNA will contain some UgaUga.

Fort Miami was a fort built on the Maumee River at the eastern edge of the present-day city of Maumee, Ohio, and southwest of the present-day city of Toledo, Ohio. It was built by the British on U.S. territory in defiance of the terms of the Treaty of Paris that ended the American Revolutionary War.

Wow, it's called Fort Miami yet it's all the way up in Ohio... strange much?

Narding Anzures was a Filipino film actor and convicted murderer.

The son of actors Miguel Anzures and Rosa Aguirre, Anzures had starred in pre-World War II films as a child actor. After the war, he was paired with Lilian Velez in three LVN films, Binibiro Lamang Kita, Ang Estudyante, and Sa Kabukiran.

In 1948, LVN had decided to cast Jaime de la Rosa as Velez's leading man in her next picture. The decision upset Anzures. On the night of June 26, Anzures barged into the home of Velez and stabbed her and a housemaid to death.

Anzures was promptly arrested, tried and convicted for the murders. He died in prison from tuberculosis.

The word twat has various functions, its primary meaning being a vulgar synonym for the human vulva, vagina, or clitoris. It is also widely used as a derogatory epithet, especially in British English. The word is usually considered vulgar in all contexts.

I swear it was random. And wow...

Is it bad that I find this idea great? And fun...

Born in 1948, he grew up being very interested in card tricks. For some reason, he dropped out of law school to pursue full time card magic. Rather lame career decision. Because of his fascination with cards, he knew card counting methods. While perusing his full time career in card magic, he supported himself by counting cards. Apparently, he gave up his card counting career and became a consultant to many casinos.

Since then, he's written many books on both the subject of magic, and gambling. His books on magic are greatly liked by the magic community, but received negative reviews by the err Magic Book reviewers. I swear, they're called "MAGIC" Points for the creativity
And a second one. But it's boring, there's about two lines on it.

A former Australian Football (Soccer) League in the Victorian Football League. He was a member of the Essendon premiership teams in 1949 and 1950. He played 77 games, and made 76 goals, which isn't bad. He was born in 1928, and it doesn't say his death, so I guess he's still alive.

List of energy densities:

Gasoline contains 47.2 megajoules per kilogram while animal fat contains only 37 megajoules per kilogram.
Also, a single kilogram of uranium contains 20 terajoules!

This is fun!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intrinsically_safe

Intrinsic safety (IS) is a protection technique for safe operation of electronic equipment in explosive atmospheres. The concept was developed for safe operation of process control instrumentation in hazardous areas, particularly North Sea gas platforms. As a discipline, it is an application of Inherent safety in Instrumentation.

The theory behind intrinsic safety is to ensure that the available electrical and thermal energy in the system is always low enough that ignition of the hazardous atmosphere cannot occur. This is achieved by ensuring that only low voltages enter the hazardous area, and that all electric supply and signal wires are protected by zener safety barriers. Sometimes an alternative type of barrier known as a galvanic isolation barrier may be used.
