yeah I forgot about that. But it doesn't change it that much, the hacking is easily countered by a defense drone and mind control you counter either with your mind control or locking up the mind controlled dude until it wears off

hacking is certainly not "easily" countered by a defense drone, the AI just keeps spamming hacking drones, eventually it gets through

Yep. Even with the Defence Drone II, which fires awesomely fast, it still manages to get through. Often when a missile salvo goes off at about the same time.

Getting even one level of hacking is a decent enough way to counter the hacking and mind control, although you have to hope that you don't get wrecked before the flagship's supershield goes down. A supershield or shield drone and the Defense II is also a pretty good way of blocking it. Other than that, bombs are always good.

Mind-Controlled crew members are still crew members, they can still walk through the doors on their own ship.
