I finally saved up enough money and got a used PS3. What games should I get? I am pretty interested in Fat Princess, but I don't know if anyone still plays it a lot.

I am looking for PS3 exclusive games mainly too! (That's right, I own more then one console. I am one of those people...)

EDIT: I should probably point I have Demon Souls and inFamous.

Ratchet & Clank.

All 3 on the PS3. Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, and Crack in Time.

Demon's Souls

Unique experience that everyone should at least TRY.

Uncharted 1 + 2

Not as great as the hype, but still fantastic.

Folklore.

Very little voice acting, but that's really it's only flaw. Unique story, fun hack-n-slash-meets-pokemon gameplay.

Wild ARMs 1 + 2, Grandia

Get these off the PS1 section of the PSN store for some amazing and overlooked PS1 RPGs.

InFamous

Plays like a shooter. That part kinda surprised the fuck out of me. Fun, though.

Valkyria Chronicles

Turn-based/real-time strategy RPG game. Mixes well, I think.

Heavy Rain

Again, a unique experience that everyone should try.

Infamous, Resistance 2, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 1/2, Valkyria Chronicles.
All of these are good games (Lot of different genres) that I'd recommend looking into.

Alright I will! I should point out I don't have a mic for the PS3 yet...

Also, I am on Xbox Live as BraveLilWonton if you wanna be XBox Live Buddies. I do have a mic for that! Though at the moment I am being an achievement whore before this years new games overwhelms me...

EDIT: And steam as well...but I never can remember my login name. I should get on that...

I heard Mass Effect 2 is coming out for the PS3 soon. But if you have a PC that can play it or a Xbox360 you'd probably already played it.

I can recommend some movies, but everyone knows the PS3 has......

har har har har har.

In all seriousness, I'd recommend the Uncharted series first and foremost. Beyond that, it depends on your personal preference, but unless you're easily amused(like, cymbal-banging monkeys enthrall you), I wouldn't recommend Heavy Rain. Maybe I'm a snob or something, but the massive gaping plot holes, terrible pacing, bad voice acting, and completely throwaway characters(NAWMINJAYDEHN) really ruined the experience for me.

Other good PS3 games include Killzone 2(it's a first-person shooter without obnoxious set pieces, that alone makes it a godsend), Demon's Souls(more Castlevania than Lords of Shadow), and pretty much any multiplat.
Thank God for that...

Lords of Shadow kinda disappointed me. It was alright but I was expecting more...

inFamous

Only games I have for the PS3.
I had Demon's Souls, but it wasn't fun for me.

It's almost considered a crime to have a PS3 without Heavy Rain. Go buy it... Now.

In b4 Haes no gaemz?

There are plenty of good exclusives out there, most of which have already been mentioned. I will instead point you to the upcoming PS3 version of Portal 2, which is supposed to be the better console version (I don't know why, but Valve said it...)

The God of War series is iffy for me, though. It may be the only PS3 exclusive I've played that I didn't like all that much. If you have a taste for hack n slash and a really, REALLY bad ass but totally douchebag protagonist, go for it. Otherwise, test the waters with a rental or something.

Fat princess is in no way shape or form dead. On occasion I might have one bootout due to unable to connect to a host but other than that its 100% spot on, and also, you can get the base game via cards at game stop for 7.50$ Honestly the second best investment on my PS3 period.

My best investment as well as what is and basically always will be my recommendation. Demons Souls. Its "Difficulty" is what games should aspire to. Though its really not difficult at all, it just requires a degree of patience and planning that most people seem to lack these days. Given that its over a year old its price should be fairly low now and I know I am not even half way done with what I intend to do with it and Ive already gotten 180 hours of enjoyment out of it. (honestly even though it supposedly can be completed in 1 hour, a typical playthru runs about 60-80 hours.)

Heavy Rain, both Uncharteds, Ratchet & Clank, Gran Turismo 5, FFXIII, God of War III. Those games will keep you happy after you've thrown Demons's's Souls out the fucking window in a fit of rage.

Singularity
-Despite bad sales and a "Been there, done that" at first glance, the gameplay is fantastic. The spread of monsters sets the environment perfectly. The Plot takes the cake, and though it's not 100% original and doesn't ask to be replayed, I have played it several times over anyway. There is online multiplayer as well, and a small comminuty to boot.

Vanquish
-Fan. Tas. Tic. Created by the creator of Resident Evil games, this Sci-Fi shooter has stunning visuals with fluid gameplay. While the game feels linear, (Go here, do that, run here.) you get the challange few games deliver successfully.

Medal of Honor: Limited Edition
-Wonderful new addition to the series. Multiplayer has 8,000 members online hourly, BUT has several online drawbacks, such as a Sniper Based community (Can't walk 5 feet without hearing THHP! and then THHNK! into your skull). The Singleplayer is fun and while the plot is extremely predictable, the gameplay is fun with loads of paths and crannies to explore and use to your advantage.

Resistance: Fall of Man (and 2, though it's not as good)

God of War I, II, II - seriously go get these games. Mind numbing hack and slash has never been so good!

MAG - Not the most polished of shooters but it epicness makes up for it. Online only with up to 128 v 128 in objective based combat is pretty nuts!

3D Dot Game Heroes was pretty cool too. Worth checking out as a nice throwback to the original Zelda games.

GT5 - 1000 cars... ONE THOUSAND CARS!!

Valkyria Chronicles: excellent SRPG with some great art and some very fun characters (especially the side-characters). It gets fairly cheesy in the main storyline, but the gameplay more than makes up for it. You also get to choose if you want to play it with English or Japanese audio, which is nice (personally I felt the voices fit certain characters better in the Japanese, but I'm sure others disagree).

Folklore: a surreal, well-told story. Has great creature designs and a very interesting plot. The gameplay reminds of earlier PS2 beat-em-ups, and can get a little repetitive, though there are enough Pokemons to make it interesting again. Good music too (the soundtrack was done by Kenji Kawai).

Wipeout HD/Fury: downloadable PSN title. If you've ever played Wip3out or any of the PSP Wipeout games you'll know what you're in for. Anti-gravity racing in a highly futuristic setting with weapon pickups and powerups. The difficulty curve isn't as punishing as it was in the PS1 games, so it's a little more accessible. Also, electronic music. And the awesomely trippy Zone mode.
