I can recommend the two above.

Orange is the New Black is a waste of time. Not a very good show.

I would strongly recommend "Daredevil" and "House of Cards" for drama.

I have heard great things about "Peaky Blinders" but I have not personally watched it. Same with "The Killing". Both are in my Queue to watch at some point.

For a great sitcom, "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schimdt". It's about a girl who was trapped in an underground cult for fifteen years and after finally being released, she moves to New York City and rooms with a gay black actor and is employed by a rich snobby millionaire. A story as old as time itself. Developed by the "30 Rock" people and their fingerprints are all over it.

Is it just Netflix Originals you want or ANYTHING on Netflix?

That would be my FIRST suggestion. o_O OITNB and Breaking Bad are the only two shows of the last 10 years that I fell madly in love with before the first episode was over.

Laura Prepon could be my Alex any day. *blush*

My fiancee and I also enjoy OITNB. Though I'm a bit over Alex and Chapman. I prefer the more peripheral characters. Like the Chang flashback episode. That was neat.

Heeey, so.did I! What sort of telepathic, consumerist game are we playing here?

Ok, obviously I must mention the uhh obvious, which.is breaking bad. I have not seen the spin-off; better call Saul. But it is in there somewhere.

Ted talks. All of them. Well., apart from the bad ones. But you will only know them as you see them.

Well Daredevil was awesome. So I would definitely recommend that.

I myself have just started re-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Netflix. Because swapping DVDs is a pain...

House of Cards and Daredevil are fantastic, almost required viewing in my opinion. If you've been into Breaking Bad then you'll be giving Better Call Saul a look too. The thing I recommend most of all is the series I'm just about to finish, Sons of Anarchy. Think Hamlet crossed with the Hells Angels and you're pretty much there.

In addition to that there's the first five series of Community on Netflix which you should have a look at if you've got time.

There's also Firefly and Serenity...

Echoing some people's sentiments here...

Supernatural (Pretty awesome up until Season 6, when it was originally supposed to end. >_>)
Firefly (Cliffhanger, the series)
House of Cards (Spacey is just wonderful)
Orange Black New Is The (...Lesbian prison sex!)
Scrubs (What? I find it cute and actually enjoy the humor)
House (How have you not watched House yet? Hugh Laurie is fantastic)

And those other couple of big ones I haven't bothered to watch.

Something about a drug dealing teacher... I dunno.

Doctor Who. No comment necessary.

As no one has mentioned it yet, Orphan Black! I really got into it, and now I am desperately waiting for series 3 to arrive! One of my favourite programmes on there.

I also like Orange is the New Black, IT Crowd (UK), Supernatural, Fringe, Skins (UK), Misfits and of course, Dr Who.

Since everyone is suggesting TV shows I'll suggest some movies that i found on Netflix.

Confession of Murder- Amazing South Korean detective story about trying to catch a killer when the statute of limitations has run out.

Contracted- Trying to explain what the movie is about would spoil everything but it's one of my new favorites.

Zombeavers- Zombie Beavers do I really need to say more?

American Mary- Rather sleazy and hard to place in a genre. reminds me of 70's rape/revenge flicks.

+1 - The same party is happening twice ten minutes apart. wierd but really interesting.

I will admit though that I'm not sure that all these movies are still available.

You're going to need to be WAAAYYYY more specific about your tastes. There's an insane amount of content on Netflix right now, no way to know what to recommend until I know what you're looking for.

If you haven't seen it, check out It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but start with the 4th season. Also check out Louie, Wilfred, and Sons of Anarchy, And don't forget that there is a good selection of martial arts movies.
