It is a little sad that still not a lot of people know about them. I think their music is great, as are the lyrics. In almost every song I can find something meaningful that speaks to me, which is one reason they are my favorite band. Plus the fact that a lot of their lyrics contain a lot of historic and literary symbolism, which I like looking up after I hear it.

Moving Pictures is just a great album. Period. Almost 1/2 of the album is featured on the greatest hits cd Spirit of Radio. I think that speaks for itself.

Favorite song is YYZ, followed by The Main Monkey Business.

I don't care much for Geddy Lee's singing (though I like it in the album the Main Monkey Business is from), but their instrumentals are insane.

I would totally go see them live. I am jealous.

Rush are awesome. For years I'd hear Tom Sawyer or Fly By Night on the radio and I'd always think to myself that they sound really cool, but I never got in to them until recently when a friend of mine, who's a huge Rush fan gave me a list of his favorite tracks, and now I'm hooked for life.

I saw them in 2008 during the Snakes & Arrows Tour, rocked my socks off. Tom Sawyer is of course awesome, though I thought it sounded kind of weak live, and I always skip it when listening to the live album.
