I'm not experiencing ANY of those issues. DA2 is one of the best Console->Pc ports I've seen. The controls are fluid, the interface is designed just like DA:O (for combat, anyway) and the only area with bad visuals was the outskirts of Lothering.

Seriously, take a look at this screenshot and tell me the game has awful graphics:

As for the engine itself, I have never experience any slowdown whatsoever, and I'm on a dual-core Athlon 64 5.2ghz, a Geforce 8800GT 512mb and 4GB of RAM. The framerate didn't dip, even with 4xAA.
It has awful graphics.

you can see the tile effect of the ground texture.
the Texture set on the walls are flat (see top of picture, wall oblique to you)
The bronze statues, well lit individuals, and reflections are pixilating.
the statues have Identical lighting inspite of being in shadow.
bluring/pixilation on the collumn closest to the screen.
Wall edges not at ground level are razor sharp.

and this is just this one picture.
everything is low poly, low res texture, and horribly stinks of the clone stamp tool.

Well then either I have very low standards or you have very high standards.

In my experience, I would call DA2's graphics merely good. Nothing exceptional, but it certainly gets the job done.
