New one. You'll get a speed boost AND you'll be able to support newer devices. Any more questions? Just quote me to ask more questions. ;-)

People seem to hate on NETGEAR a bit, but I don't really see it. I've got two NETGEAR routers in operation (one with Wi-Fi and a built-in modem for internet access and another one to provide Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi signal in another building) and an old one that I don't use anymore because it's only wireless g Wi-Fi. They've always worked fine other than needing an occasional power reset (seems to have been fixed with firmware updates though, both the ones I have set up work flawlessly all the time and haven't missed a beat for months). They work fine with my Wii as well (doesn't need any extra setup...just connect the Wi-Fi and off it goes). Haven't had much experience with anything else simply because I don't really have a reason to switch brands at this point. Most other people would probably recommend D-Link instead though because reasons.

Yeah, when it comes to common brands for SOHO networking kit Netgear is as good as any of the others and when it comes to most home networks those brands are a good balance for price-reliability-durability. There are more reliable and durable brands around but they're not worth the higher price in most cases... which is to say that when Netgear, D-Link and the like will last you long enough that you replace them for being obsolete rather than because they shat themselves, you're just wasting money going for the more expensive brands.

It's sort of a pity, really, because I do like Draytek gear.

I myself use a Netgear, like Snowy above, and I haven't had any problems from the router; all of my problems were my wireless dongles on my PC and laptop. I have tried DLink and Linksys and they just don't seem to cut it when it comes to the range and speed I get with Netgear.
