Reading the Wiki Episodes, It is about a girl with an otaku hard-on wanting to sleep with her older brother.

The episode her is referencing is:

The following night Kyosuke meets with Ruri and as they stand in the rain, he painfully breaks up with her by confessing his love for another girl. This brings Ruri to tears and she violently rips the notebook filled with the memories of their time together before cursing the world. The next day, Kyosuke asks Kirino out on a Christmas date to Akihabara like they did a year previously after tempting her with the chance to purchase exclusive eroge which she accepts. That night, as they exit the Tokyo Skytree, Kirino reveals her intention of going abroad once more upon her graduation and promises not to repeat her past mistakes. Kyosuke then reveals that he had finally fallen in love with a girl, which upsets Kirino and causes her to run off. Giving chase, Kyosuke quickly looses sight of Kirino when at that moment Kaori, Saori and Ruri show up in a minivan after apologetically stalking their date. As the group gives chase to Kirino, Saori reveals that she and her sister had repaired their relationship. Finally, after spotting Kirino, Kyosuke jumps out of the van and corners her. He then unceremoniously begins proclaiming his love for her. As Kirino starts rebuffing Kyosuke's strange words, his true feelings are revealed when Ruri loudly blares Kyosuke's love confession to Kirino from a large array of speakers from Kaori's minivan, which she had secretly recorded during their breakup. Not denying his feelings any longer, Kyosuke publicly acknowledges his love for Kirino, believing that the line between playing simulation games and real life became blurred as they spent time together. Kyosuke then asks her to stay in Japan and marry him. Finally realizing that the brother she always wanted was the person standing next to her all this time, Kirino tearfully accepts.

I can't Kirno in the slightest, she is an awful human being and her brother is a personality devoid blackhole with no life beyond interacting with his little sister or her friends.

I was traumatized by this shoe as well because I went in expecting a comedy with some incest-y bullshit, but instead got a horror story about a guy whose entire like was dictated by his ***** sister's whims. Not that his other romantic choices were any better. They were all awful characters or paper thin, but any of them would have been better than the raging ***** that is Kirno. And episode 14-15 were just plain awful of the second season gave no closure. After all that trouble he should have been like hey

. Then at least he would have been somewhat memorable.

But yeah if you think incest is yuck then stay away from this show, but if you can stomach incest portrayed in a realistic way that actually has some emotional weight behind it try Koi Kaze. Now that is a bitter sweet love story between siblings that actually deals with consequences of what they're doing. It's also just a much better story in general.

That's a bad way of putting it. Kyousuke is actually one of the best male leads in any anime. Ever. Because he DOES have a personality. You just diddn't enjoy the show because you don't like Kirino.

After reading the comments, I remember reading a few chapters of it. The name caught my attention and I really just had to know if it was what I thought it was. I remember reading a couple chapters before there were no more available on the site I frequent. After that, I didn't care enough to seek out any other chapters.

I believe in evolution but I believe in not fucking any of my relatives even more strongly.

Incest is sex with close relatives like immediate family and second and first cousins, so not all relationships are incestuous. I wouldn't willingly have sex with a third cousin but I don't think it matters too much when you go beyond 2nd cousin.

From the way I've always understood it, in Japanese society, people don't just go up to women and talk to them. Like, the only women you ever have interactions with in Japanese society are you family members, neighbors, classmates, and work colleagues. That's why so much Japanese anime (and Japanese porn) is so obsessed with the classmate, and childhood friend dynamic (and incestuous relationships to a smaller degree), because the availability of possible romantic partners is fairly limited by social norms.

So, onto the romantically plausible ones:

I think it's unethical to have a child of your own blood if you're closely related to the person you love. If you're brother and sister, then you ought to adopt. Beyond that, I can't find any compelling reason to call it unethical-- or "all kinds of wrong" as you put it.

I'm not saying there aren't any reasons at all; but all the ones I can think of must necessarily stem from a belief that we have the right to influence each others' behaviour in society EVEN where that behaviour has no bearing on us beyond offense or disgust and does no provable harm to society as long as the above prohibitions are respected most of the time (there will always be crime of course).

Well, I'm fundamentally opposed to that view. That is, I find what I deem to be the arrogance of that view disgusting.

If they're not unethically reproducing, who the hell am I- and who the hell is anyone else, parents, society, the authorities- to say anything? The answer in my view is that we're nobody, and should keep our mouths shut and girthy, pretension-swollen noses out.

I think the circumstances surrounding an incestuous relationship are as likely to make a good story as the next, non-incestuous one. And I say that as someone whose natural disinclination toward his own sibling is as strong as it gets; she's sexless as far as I've always been concerned.

Still, if it turns your stomach, it turns your stomach. I'd accept that even if you said "Just because". Different people have different tolerances and I respect that.
