So if you could put 2 games in a blender, what would they be?

My friend and I have discussed this a lot...

1) Pokemon + Harvest Moon. It'd be a Pokemon game that actually let you breed the damn things rather than taking them to some weird guy and his wife. Think of it like farming with Pokemon. Pokemon battling would still be included.

2) The Sims + LEGO. Yeah. It's begging for it. It'd be a really strange game, don't get me wrong, but I'd love to see where it could go. xD

3) This is the one I actually really want: Skyrim + The Sims. I can't help it. I love simulation games. Always have. But sometimes, I want to stop worrying about the bathroom and get out and actively do things. World Adventures and Medieval are steps in the right direction, but WA is super simplistic with its puzzles and Medieval turns what would be RPG gameplay into random events in rabbit holes.

I also wouldn't mind more simulation elements in Saints Row. Random events (like Skyrim) would be nice too (but I haven't had the chance to play The Third yet, I'm still eagerly awaiting the money to get it with).

I would mix something like Hitman: Blood Money with LA Noire.

Because I think the blend of open world with the thinking, planning and execution of various contracts in a Hitman fashion would be amazing!

fun light hearted gameplay with a full long rpg system with a really epic over arching story?
That sounds good, ill take 8.

I'd go with gundam(encounters in space) and Starcraft 2,

I'd love to See a quality gundam game in any way or form, but I'd love to see a rts gundam on a big scale.

Also star wars Battlefront and BF3.
Give me a battfiled fps view and vehicle control on the scale of the battflefront games. Oh..Imagine the realism of an X-wing in a good space battle, or following an AT-AT into battle...so good.

Skyrim and Space Marine.

You are a lone Space Marine (please GOD not an ultramarine) who has been dispatched to a Hive World to bring the Emperor's light to the Xenos / Cultists / Heretics that have infested it.

Take that plot and build it around a Bethesda-style open world and quest system, and I think I'd be sucked in for at LEAST 3-400 hours of gameplay.

Does putting them into an Xbox and then tilting it over count as putting them into a blender? I've done that before.
Depends, is your 360 one of those models that scratches the fuck out of discs if you have the audacity to stand it on its side and play?

Rainbow Islands and Mario 64. Huge sprawling levels, emphasis on exploration rather than time trial and a truly unique method of getting around. Power-ups could include the Parasol Stars parasol or a magic item that turns you into a Bubble Bobble dragon.

What I really want is a game that plays like Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood with the characters and setting from Touhou. Preferably still developed by Bioware, because the consensus is that they do better writing than most...

Bastion and Skyrim

Bastion is my number one favorite game of all time so getting an open world version of the game with eve MORE depth to it and more ways to customize your experience and more locations to visit and that list goes on and on would be the single best game ever made

Red Dead Redemption.

Seriously, I hope somebody (preferably Volition) does this. How the west was won - by the outlaws! Red Dead Redemption was a wonderfully immersive and realistic experience, and you could always find the time for a quick murder spree, but at the end of the day you WERE working for the law. It's always more fun to play a straight-up criminal in this kind of game, and the traditional Western outlaw is the very image of criminal badassery!

Besides, no matter what The Boss looked like on your favorite SR2 savefile, one thing we all know is that he/she is motivated only by greed, debauchery and occasionally revenge - always in the most crude and barbaric ways humanly possible. Such a person would be the perfect protagonist for a game set in the West!

On a final note: Unlike the traditionally-minded John Marston, The Boss would VERY likely prove both willing and able to ditch that horse in favor of one a'them new-fangled Fords! (Yup, this is what pissed me off the most about RDR.)

My head exploded because I can't fucking decide!!

Most of the time, I just want one game to have a little more work done to it.

That, and I'm probably not permitted to toss my incomplete game idea in the blender with anything else.

A cross between Starcraft and Sins of a Solar Empire. Something that I had originally thought Starcraft was, before I actually bothered looking it up. The ability to fly around space with your ships, build space stations, engage in planetary combat & the ability to hold intense ground fights on the planets all in real time. Have the ships be able to fly around the planets and enter their atmosphere in real time, and I would have one hell of a game to play.

That, or BF3 crossed with Empire Earth or something. The RTS isn't too important in this one, but a successfully implemented system that allows you to cross between FPS and RTS in one game in real time, controlling any unit you wish, along with the destruction engine BF3 should be getting fully released with Back to Karkand for the buildings, and it would be quite entertaining for me to play. A good mix of cognitive thinking and planning, and reflex and skill. I know a couple of games in which it has been kinda implamented, but not to the scale of being able to control any unit. Oh, and vehicles should behave like Starwars Battlefront. The smaller ones like tanks and jeeps are pilotable by one person, with maybe one or two extra seats, the larger ones like Battleships and Aircraft Carriers and such require a driver, a number of gunners, and can be walked around inside of and have battles inside of.

Far Cry 2 + Fallout: NV... so pretty much FC2 but with an open world with stuff to explore.

Also, Company of Heroes + Red orchestra/arma/battlefield, etc.
