So my brother is getting a dream cast with two controllers and a game (I forget the name)from one of his friends at a cheap price. There is a store in a mall by me that sells old video game stuff so I was wondering what games should I be on the look out for? I honestly know very little of the dream cast's library of games so I'm kinda in the dark here.

One of the cool things about the Dreamcast is that it has very few shitty titles. Coincidentally at the same time the NeoGeo Pocket Color was out and it also has very few shitty titles. There's a good chance that if the game you're considering looks like it'd be cool (because it's in a genre you like), it will actually be cool.

If you're an turn-based RPG fan, go for Evolution and Evolution 2. Beautiful, fun games. Also Sonic Adventure 1 is possibly the only decent transition of Sonic from two dimensions to three. For fighting games there is Capcom vs. Marvel and Powerstone.

Hey don't say that I loved Sonic Adventure 2. But I might have to check out Evolution. I've always wanted to do some more serious turn based combat games. Capcom vs. Marvel sounds good too.

Power Stone 1+2, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Grandia 2, Shenmu 1+2, Crazi Taxi, Skies of Arcadia, Jet Set Radio, and Sonic Adventure are absolute must buys.

Seriously, those games are all absolutely amazing, and Sonic Adventure is the only good 3D Sonic game ever made. In fact, its just as good as the old 2D ones.

These three are an absolute must.

Sonic adventure is also badass.

I already have sonic adventure for game cube. Also please tell me what the game is like if I can't tell by the title. For example I have no idea what skies of arcadia is going to be like.

Soul Calibur, Marvel vs. Capcom, Power Stone series (what is it with fighting games on this system?). Sonic Adventure (both of them), Phantasy Star Online (if you never played the Gamecube version), Jet Set Radio and the Evolution games. And probably a lot of others. I don't know, basically anything will do.

Skies of Arcadia and Evolution are both turn-based JRPGs from when the genre was good. Power Stone is a fighting game series. Jet Set Radio is a sports-ish fun thing. Phantasy Star Online is a kick-ass MMORPG with a fun though kind of repetitive offline mode.
