So I'm getting some money.

So I'm getting some money tomorrow, not a lot of money for most people, but a nice sum for me, and I'm thinking of either getting Diablo 2, the expansion and a pair of fancy earphones, or a lava lamp and a pair of fancy earphones, OR a pair of really fancy earphones. Yeah, the descriptions of the items are vague... and the items are seemingly random, but never mind all that.

I'm really rooting towards the fancy earphones and diablo 2 with the expansion, BUT I'm wondering, are people still playing that online? Maybe some of you escapists who still play diablo 2 would join in(What? RECCOMENDATION thread is evolving! Congratulations! Your RECCOMENDATION thread evolved into HOOK-UP thread).

I hear tell that Diablo 2 is still played (with expansion, of course). I even pop it in from time to time. However with Diablo 3 coming, people will uproot from that game.

Also, hacked characters populate the online play. If you want away from that, you have to play on battle.net, and keep active on that unless you want your character deleted.

diablo 2 you will play for a few hours, then go to a lan party where they have it for free anyway.
