..and i've been coming up with ideas for it for a while now. Current storyline involves a war been sentient pandas, and discreetly mobile cacti, with you being an impartial viewer who, in the beginning, is allied to neither side.

That might sound very random, but i'm trying to have some originality here, rather than milking the same sorts of storylines that have been done repeatedly.

so, my question is: What do you want to see in a game? Try and come up with weird and original ideas that you haven't seen anywhere before.

there's original and then there's plain silly, and this is the latter.

The protagonist needs to be a plucky young plasticine construct. That is all.
Edit: Also, there needs to be a gay romance option.

Food? Restoring mana?

Now you're just being silly.

How about focusing on making a good game instead of a silly "original" one, no matter how strange the plot or characters, if it still feels like your average run-of-the-mill experience, the originality willn't do much good. I remember playing a game where you're a piece of toast killing butter.

Anyway, more on topic, I'd like to see it have no ending whatsoever, not a cliff hanger or anything just it ends right in the middle, protagonist has just finished a side quest in order to get a bit more of the way through the game, some NPC says "thank you for finding my necklace of broken kitten skulls, the evil Cactus King's lair be right over that mountain of marshmallows and strangely sharp candy corn that can cut a mans genitalia in two. Remember though, King Kactus has a moat of boiled crocodiles that is infested with angry lava!" THE END! NO SEQUEL.

This.

But there is no mana in the game.

For actual mindfuckery.

I want to see a game which doesn't ration the big guns. You know how it is: the biggest, most coolest guns in shooters are always the ones with least ammo so you end up hardly getting to use them. That should be reversed. Let us use huge fuck off guns on small mooks, and too hell with the balancing issues. Serious Sam got it right, letting you use a pirate cannon to kill the weakest of mooks.

That's most likely why I enjoy RPGs

"You want this sword?
You wanna equip it?

Well FUCK YOU you're to inexperienced"
You know, I think they should start incorporating that into games now, it would make them so much more awesome.
