I'm currently working on a sci-fi webcomic, one that ties the Halo, Star Wars, Star Trek, Mass Effect, and Stargate universes into one comic. It will also feature a small cameo by Doctor Who. What are your favorite sci-fi franchises, and would any of you actually read this comic? Before you start, yes you can criticize this idea if you want to.
-Also, though this comic will feature mature themes and images, it will mostly be comedy. Or perhaps, an action-comedy.

Er...Just a question man, how in the hell are you going to tie all this together in an effective and logical manner?

Is that Legal? I'd check copywrite laws before you start pulling those franchises into your artwork... just a little heads up.

You should have a character named "Aurora" who happens to be a freaking awesome starfighter pilot. Who's also arrogent, attractive and imaginative.

If you put that into your comic, then it will sell thousands, maybe even millions.

Though I am worried about copyrights, I do realize that I'll have to edit some things to make it all make sense. Hopefully, this will allow me to bypass federal copyright laws. Also, why don't fanfic writers worry about this? They could be in just as much trouble as me.

That's actually a central component of the plot. I do have an explanation for all of this, and it's actually pretty funny. You see it's about this...wait, do you really want me to give away the plot? Won't that ruin the surprise?
