So... is Soul Eater any good?

So, while screwing around on Youtube, I found a really cool video:


Now, I'd heard of Soul Eater before, but I never really paid any attention to it. This video makes me think I should give it a look. So, is Soul Eater any good?

Is it one of those series like Dragonball Z or One Piece where they just go on and on forever and never know when to stop? Cause I'm not looking for a SUPER-long anime right now.

Also, is there any significant difference between the sub and the dub? (please only answer if you're unbiased in this regard. If you're the kind of person who ONLY watches subs, or ONLY watches dubs, don't feel obligated to answer this one.)

i haven't checked the anime that deeply, but the manga's pretty good, and the bit of the anime i did watch was pretty decent.

Trust me you're better off that way... the second season is one of the worst things I've ever seen... I liked the first season though...<.<

Nope. In fact, that's one complaint about the anime. As far as I know, the manga is still ongoing, but the anime ended after one season, and the ending was apparently rather abrupt and strange.

I've heard good things about the manga, though, and I want to see the anime just for the design quality.

It's great, I've been reading the manga cause I keep losing track of the number of episodes I watched. But it's really great.

Its very good with some of the best action scenes in anime and are in every episode. Its also very hilarious, but there are some annoying characters at first but you will eventually warm up to them. It seemed like the anime needed a few more episodes to end it, but due to contracts they had to wrap it up a little too quickly. Overall, highly recommended.

YES. Soul Eater is awesome go watch it RIGHT NOW. I don't like most anime but I love Soul Eater it is that good. Also it's not that long only about 50 episodes.

Its really good, but the Anime deviates from the Manga at a certain point, providing wrong events and the worst ending i ever saw (basicly Falcon Punch and everything ends, like the faith of the world was never in question...)...

My opinion... watch it... even if it has a crappy ending, it has good animations and it is entertaining and fun...

Then start reading the Manga.... theres sites with it translated, its still on going and its extremely fun with a awesome drawing and good story...
