I know it's old news, but is anyone else wondering what the hell is going on at Lucasarts?
Well I suppose it's about what would produce more revenue, but it's a seriously sad state of affairs when a collection on Star Wars mini-games gets developed and published over Battlefront 3.

Sure enough I would love to have a Star Wars: Battlefront 3 but seeing Boba Fett dance to an Empire recruitment version of the YMCA will do just fine. It's all harmless fun and will blow over soon enough aslong as you ignore it.

It's probably fun with some friends after a few too many drinks, but how many people that buy this game are going to play it a couple of times, and then shelve it, and forget about it. No one is going to get stuck into this like they would Battlefront 3, maybe that's not the point but it seems an awful waste for all that development to go into something that is essentially shelf-ware. I guess I'm just bitter because I was looking forward to SW:BF3 so much

If I was a Star Wars fan I'd be more concerned with some of the 'serious' projects that LucasArts sign off on, like The Force Unleashed 2, or anything and everything he does to the original trilogy.

No doubt Kinect Star Wars is soon to be forgotten shovelware, but it's hilarously camp shovelware, so it's worth it... unless it's really a secret plan by Lucas to ensure that the Holiday Special is only the second most ridiculous thing to carry the Star Wars name.
