I'm up for donating towards Movember, but I would never join in myself. I look younger than I actually am, and I don't tend to interact with enough people in everyday life, so I would just look like some random guy with a pedo-moustache.
If you're getting sponsored and the money is going to prostate cancer charities, then kudos, and good look.
However, if its just to 'raise awareness' then I think that's stupid. Awareness doesn't need to be raised, that doesn't help anything. Its not like its some obscure disease that no-one's heard of, one that only effects poor people in foreign countries. Those are the problem's that we need to raise awareness of. Cancer we just need to raise money.
Unfortunately, when my beard does grow, it looks horrible. Plus, by the time it got to the point that you could really tell its there, it'll be December. So I'll probably be shaving as much as I usually do. Once every two weeks.
If it's about growing facial hair then why is it called Movember? Why not Growvember? To answer the question though, probably not. My face sucks at growing facial hair.
