The name that pops up immediately is Cait Sith from FF7. Although that would also depend on the color of the cat. And also how much you like the character. (Which I do, but I know how much he seems to be hated.) My other choice would be Vivi from FF9.

Also, would it be possible if that kitten was the only one that came? I remember one time I was visiting someone, and their dog had given birth to only one puppy.
