So my game just crashed... constantly and that reminds me... Of all the (new) PC games I have played the past few years there actually haven't been any crashes before with the rare exception of 1 or 2.

In the good ol' days of PC gaming crashes happened on a daily basis.

Anyhow, how has it been going for you? Experienced a lot of game crashes, graphic, glitch or otherwise?

And while on the subject, which crash was the worst?

Lego Batman 2 crashed on me a few days ago, it's probably the only 'modern' game I can think of that sticks out.

Well, not entirely true. I was playing Mass Effect through my... fourth time? And I'd just reached the first encounters with the Rachni on Noveria, and a Rachni scuttled right up to Shepard and melee'd him so hard that he exploded into pieces and the game crashed.

KotOR II crashes a fair bit too, but that's KotOR II.

I don't know if I'd be able to remember what my worst crash ever has been. In-game at least. I had an external hard drive crash on me, that was a pretty annoying day.

I've never experienced frequent crashes playing on the PC. None that were natural, anyway. Games crashing is usually a sign that I modified it just a little too much. Even Bethesda games have never given me the kind of crashing that seems to give other gamers PTSD. If crashing does occur then it happens maybe once every two hours of gametime, which is actually an efficient sign that i've been playing too long and need to do something productive.

However, there is one game I have that crashes no matter what I do: Space Trader. The Demo was fine. The actual game crashes right after I select the Campaign button. 3 dollars I will never get back.

Ever since I started gaming on PC the only game to ever crash to desktop is Stalker Call of Pripyat but that is probably cause its modded to hell. Also ME3 multiplayer crashes whenever I click the Geth Juggernaut but that was solved by moving the dlc folder out of the directory. So all in all PC gaming has been good to me.

Plenty of BSOD when I first got my laptop two years ago, but that was due to that particular model being shipped with a faulty BIOS, which got corrected soon enough. Can't say any specific game crashes...

The only serious problems I've had with a game on PC was with Sleeping Dogs. And to fix that I had to downclock my CPU back to stock speed for some reason.

No game crashed on me as much as New Vegas did. Seriously, I was 100% sure that game will crash at least one time per game session.
Also, my very first play of Half Life 2 was on pirated version, and there was this one funny bug. For some reason, during random times all AIs would just turn off. So, you could be fighting combines and antlions at the same time when suddenly they would just all freeze on their spaces. That was funny and kinda creepy at the same time.

Max Payne 3 crashed on me 3 times in one day a couple of weeks ago when I was playing coop with a friend. That was not fun.

TF2 freezes on me on an almost regular basis.

Strangely enough Fallout New Vegas has only ever crashed on me once.

Mass Effect 2. God that game did run like a fridge on one rollerblade with a jet engine strapped to it. If I did anything while it loaded it was going to say good bye and took the rest of the computer with it.

I cant think of anything else other than my BSoD I used to get because I managed to fry half of my RAM and didnt managed to find it out for half a year
