So, need a good Virus Protection program

Well I am using windows live onecare, am running windows XP, and numerous programs have tried to open themselves (Mainly office outlook)
Anyone have suggestions?

Protection I don't know very much about, I guess AVG.
Removal is what I know and I know you will like Malwarebytes.

I'm using Avast and at least haven't noticed any viruses slipping through. Updates fairly often, too.

I don't know if it's still available for XP (should be) but I use ESET NOD32 on my rig which is solely used for gaming, and it is the best virus protection I have ever used.

Get AVG or Avast. They are pretty good. Avoid Norton, its constant renewal begging is really pathetic.

Avast, that bastard catches everything. Also malwarebytes for anything sneaky enough to get by avast.

AVG FREE
AND SPYBOT S&D
both free, neither suck that much, unlike hogs like mccrappy and noton
keep spybot up to date, and you should be good to go.
