...And broke $100,000 in under 4 hours.
A remarkable effort; I didn't know it was quite that well known.
Did anyone here pre-order?
EDIT: I wake up and...wow. It has nearly hit a quarter-million in support, between 9700 backers.
EDIT2: New goal posted at $500,000: Novakid race.

See, this is why I don't bother starting topics here and just stick to commenting.
It's always disheartening when dead-horse topics about Dark Souls elitists, Mass Effect 3 or whatever trolling Anita Sarkeeian is (or isn't) doing lately, get dredged up to be worked over and over while actual development goes largely ignored (unless it's a forum favorite like Bethesda or Valve, but I'm not even going to go into that).
Or someone starting a topic with an intensely stupid, provocative statement that leads to everyone dogpiling them, with the topic exploding in popularity.
I guess the moral of the story is that the Internet Hate Machine never sleeps, controversy sells, and if you have something nice to report it's best to just keep it to your fucking self.
This comes off as whining, and I admit that it is, but you know what: that fits.
Because we don't often discuss games in the "Game Discussion" forum so much as we whine, complain and henpeck about games.
