And oh my stars that Blumenkranz

Diese Welt ist grausam
Es ist traurig aber wahr
Diese Welt ist seltsam
Es ist fraglich aber wahr......

Aaahhhhhhhhhhhh

So what are your favorites? I must admit I was disappointed by "Before My Body Is Dry" AKA "Don't Lose Your Waaaaay!" because of the rapping guy and "I GOTTA FIND OUT WHO KILLED MY DAD!"

But it more than makes up for it with Blumenkranz...

Who says German is a harsh language?

I love this one.

The buildup is brilliant, and the second part of the song is just ominous as fuck, like a great struggle after the initial surge of power.

Plus it involved the 'Don't lose your way' theme 'cept without the J-pop overtones.

Then there's this, of course.

Bow down, bitches.

I didn't mind the rapping or that lyric in "Before My Body is Dry". To me it fits in tone with the show, and I'm not as close-minded towards rap as a lot of other people seem to, and it's from the creators of Gurren Lagann so it's in keeping with it's spirit. I find them cheesy, but the good kind of cheesy. I thought it sounded fine, and I still enjoyed the track overall.

But yeah, Blumenkranz is great, and I'm glad they included Nui's theme in the "Kill a Kill" track, because it's awesome.

Overall I love the soundtrack. Hiroyuki Sawano is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, what with Attack on Titan this same year as well as Guilty Crown and Blue Exorcist before that.

My only problem with his track is how he names them. I mean, how do you even say half of his stuff?

It's not that I don't like rap, it's that I think the rapping itself is bad (and seriousouly, "I GOTTA FIND OUT WHO KILLED MY DAD"!?!?! I know English isn't there first language but still!)

As for the names, I heard that's just how the composer names his songs believe it or not.

Eh, like I said, I thought it was cheesy but an enjoyable cheesy. "ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH!" isn't exactly a good rap either, but I still enjoy it for the cheese factor. That lyric did throw me off at first, though, but I gave it a pass, again, giving in to the cheese.

Track 6 is the best by far. I mean, the rest of the OST is great, but that theme is just... so fucking good. I can't even describe it. It's been playing in my head all day.

I just love track 12's spine tingling sense of ominousness, the track really made Ep. 11 a killer and Nui a badass.

Well, congratulations. That did it.

When this show first debuted and I saw a little of the first episode, my reaction was "WTF is this nonsense?" But with the constant raving about it and all the gifs being posted by everyone I follow on tumblr, my resistance has slowly eroded little by little. And now you had to go and post two tracks that are so awesome that I am not sure they should be legal.

So yeah, I'm gonna have to actually watch Kill La Kill now, and it's all thanks to you. I hope you're happy.

KEEP YOU FAITH
RAISE YOUR LIVELY FACE
JUST GET RID OF YOUR BROKEN WINGS
YOU'RE STRONG ENOUGH RIGHT NOW
SING IT NOW, SING IT NOW~! SHA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA~!

OT: Eh, it's alright. Not like it's the best OST I've listend to since Persona 4's OST or anything. /sarcasm

But seriously though, best soundtrack I've heard in a long time. it's so hard to put into words how it works, but it just DOES. I mean, c'mon, Satsuki's theme? Musical genius, just because of the strings.

And of course there's Before My Body is Dry (DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAAAAAAAAAY) which is still awesome. Even if the "Gotta find out who kill my dad" part is a little out of place.

A perfect soundtrack befitting of such an awesome and over-the-top anime.

now wens teh dub and $500 blu-ray edition?

Well no Kill La Kill OST is complete without Gomen Ne Iiko Ja Irarenai (ending song). By far my favorite one.

I love it so much... My jaw literally dropped when I heard track 13.

I really like the main theme too. The rapping is "ehh" but that seems to be the norm for pop songs with rap features so I'll forgive it.

And Light Your Heart up is sooo catchy... have it stuck in my head for hours now.

It really is one of the best OSTs I've ever heard. I hope we get a second one from the rest of the season.

I'm nothing if not ruthless.

Prepare your butthole for one final tasty jam, to ensure your submission.

There is a disturbing lack of NUUUDISTO BEEEAAACH in this thread! Sanageyama's awesome theme is also in here.

I can't get used to the rap lyrics in Before My Body Is Dry no matter how many times I hear it. The song, ironically, loses its way halfway through. :(

While the OST is good but it is not enough for me to seek and import the OST CD (the song played out differently then I expected it to be played). Maybe if I get lucky in the next MCM Exp), I only get it when I loved most of the tracks in it or that it is super catchy!

Anyway I feel this need an mention (granted I don't like the last bit as it make me think that's Senketsu dub voice)-

I got so hype up (other when the "Before my body dry" track start to played) when Matoi emerge from the smoke, taken a flight mode to goes up against Nonon Symphony Regalia!

Oh thank god. I've been craving this OST ever since the first "DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAAAAAAAAY!"

Thanks for the heads up, op.
