I guess then I'm xenocentric. As I seem to incredibly prefer Asian animation and games much of the time. Especially helpful is the aesthetic.ArchAngelKira said:I wonder if there is a word for people who hate anime-styled artwork? Because that's what I'm seeing here. Xenophobia in animation style. Don't be believe me. Try typing "Anime is" in google and look how many recent searches view it in such a negative way.
You do realize that there is more to anime than the ___mon shows right? And that the shows geared more towards children have a slightly different style of artwork than the ones geared towards older crowds?Soviet Heavy said:I blame France. The Amazing Spiez, Totally Spiez, and all those shitty shows are what started the Fauxnime style. It is an excuse to use cheap as hell animation, and to appeal to the Pokemon crowd of youngsters.
For you:ecoho said:this pretty much but i also miss the dam theme song why oh why didnt that just take the old song and splice it in? or better yet update it.....on second thought that might be a bad idea.....
I agree with this utterly and completely.evilneko said:Cheetara's boobs are too big.
The voice actor for Panthro is Kevin Michael Richardson, who has done a lot of voice work. Here is a link to his imdb page-- http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0724656/CmRet said:I like it. I find myself laughing a lot more. I feel like I know the voice actor of Panthro from somewhere. I like the two kids, Kit and Kat are their names or something? I like how they act with Lion-O and the group. I find Snarf to be a lot cuter now and I like the fact that he doesn't talk. He's so cute now. I mean seriously: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNKmxmqVU9M&feature=related
How can you not love that? If you don't crack a smile to that you lack a soul.
I'd agree with you, except for the fact that it totally worked for Avatar and the fact that Thundercats is animated in japan.Soviet Heavy said:I blame France. Though while I do think it looks good, I do have a beef with the pseudo-anime art style in that you see it EVERYWHERE in Western action cartoons since Avatar:TLA hit it big. Sure, it's better than trying to replicate their '80s look, but it also would have been nice to see more of an attempt at an original look rather than using the same re-treaded style as Avatar, Teen Titans, the TMNT remake, and so many other shows.
I personally cannot fathom the arguement being made.LilithSlave said:I agree with this utterly and completely.evilneko said:Cheetara's boobs are too big.
Oh, you want an argument explained? Which logic, the personal inner logic or the ethical outer logic?Idocreating said:I personally cannot fathom the arguement being made.LilithSlave said:I agree with this utterly and completely.evilneko said:Cheetara's boobs are too big.
Yeah, that bit was really annoying. That and given the lack of bodies apparently the rain of arrows hit absolutely nobody anyway. But more annoying still for me is that they had the same scene less than a minute later...using the exact same footage.Scarim Coral said:Typical off screen violence like during the battle (the cats fire the arrows and you only see the lizardmen running away).
If memmory serves, it was on purpose, since Liono being the heir and future leader had to develop physically for the challenges he had to face.ninjastovall0 said:ps, in the original series why did liono age in his pod faster than kit/kat.

The ethical outer logic is it's overdone and the social standard for "bigger is better" is unhealthy and needs to go away.
The personal inner logic is that I'm sick of seeing giant boobs on females all the time just because they have a vagina.
