So, the Witcher 2

Who has it? Who is enjoying it? Does anyone miss any parts of the first one?
I'm having a great time in this so far, despite the increased difficulty of combat. I've just reached the first main hub, and I'm surprised by just how much combat there has been so far. I'm hoping there's a bit of a break from combat coming up where I can explore and investigate a bit before getting my swords out again.

I was quite surprised that

they killed Foltest off so quickly, given Geralt had just saved him from an assassin at the end of the first one.

I hope The Witcher 2 manages to recapture that unique Eastern European feel the first game had, that was a big part of it's charm for me. I also didn't think I liked Geralt's and Triss's character redesigns when I first saw them in trailers, but I've come to appreciate the change.

Anyone else want to share their first impressions?

Still on the fence about this game, currently giving the original a go, even though I reeeeaaaaally didn't like it. Is the combat any better than the original? Are sex cards making a return?

The combat is massively improved over the original, completely changed. You don't have stances any more, left mouse is a quick light blow and right is a slower heavy blow. Then you have keys to dodge/roll and to block, as well as keys for using Signs and ranged weapons. Combat against groups is much more difficult than it was, you need to keep splitting them up and getting blows in where you can, then backing off before they can regroup or hit you back.
I believe sex cards will not be making a return, although frequent nudity will.
