I play them both but for dofus you gotta actually pay to play the game to its full advantage. but its not that spendy. $6.90 a month isnt that bad in my view. but the game is 2D so yeah. feh. fighting system works though!

I don't play either of them, but I must say: all the hate vs Runescape is unjustified. The graphics are meeh, the sound is REALLY meeh, but it is a really big online world, and all played in the comfort of your browser. It's pretty engaging, diverse and fun quests and you have a lot to do, especially when you pay for it. I must say that Runescape impresses me for a browser game.

Dofus bugged me because I got to the point where I couldn't do anything alone. I had to be in a team, or I got murdered.

Runescape... just got old. Six years were put into creating my Paladin of Saradomin, and I'd reached the point where there wasn't much else to do.

That said, it has been around six months now... there'll be lots of new things to do...

GAH! Someone take the MMORPG genre away before it consumes my life again!

yeah you all gots good points. dofus gets boring cause you really can't do a friggen thing unless you scroll your wisdom (helps you get more EXP after battles) and the enemies becoming incredibly more of a pain in the ass to fight.


runescape well. yeah you really don't go that far in it but its still a pretty fun browser game like assassinator said. and it has alot of fun things to do but it still really does get boring after awhile. speacially if you'v gotten incredibly strong. I personally started out incredibly strong cause my freind made a new account and gave me his old one. took forever to get money but I got it down =)

i havent played dofus, but Runescape is IMO the worst game ever created. full of glitches, SNES-quality 3d graphics and generally being a REALLY big turd.

A friend and I used to play Runescape just to mess with people. We'd stand in public areas closing gates or doors and refusing people access, all the while insulting them for no reason besides shits and giggles. Eventually the makers made it where things get "stuck" or they just out right removed doors. I spent many hours making enemies in front of those damn cow pastures.

I play diablo II, far better than both of those games combined, and thats a fact none of the hardcore 'scapists will argue with.

ha I agree. diablo 2 was the shit. whats crappy is I cant play the 3rd one because my computer FRIGGEN SUCKS! but its all I got =)

If I wanted to waste time on a MMO ( and I sometimes do), I'd play WoW or CoH or WAR or something. 15 $ a month is a joke for most people.

meh. like I said. my computer sucks and can't handle those games. and its hard enough trying to get enough money too even get some more ram for it. that and the fact I should buy a new video card =P

true. I would rather play an online shooter. just cause it would be free ((if I had to download it)) and because its fun as hell too get a headshot every once in awhile cause of how crappy of a shot I'am.

yeah griefing on RS is the best thing ever, I only play it once or twice a year for this reason. I hope they havent removed the "follow" action, as my favourite thing to do was to follow someone and spam the typing until they logged out
