It's going to have a hard time topping Dragon Age personally. Especially with the obviously made for console controls that never really map over to the PC in the right way.
I don't know about topping Dragon Age (I'm *still* so in love with that game...) but the difficulty won't lie in the PC controls. I was lucky enough to get a few hours' preview of ME2 both on XBox and PC (keeping in mind that most of my ME1 playthroughs were on XBox) and I found the PC controls to be the better of the two - by a long shot. The game felt crisp and smooth and precise ... which kinda sucks, cuz all my favourite endings are on the XBox...*sighs*

I'm quite curious to see all the changes that they made. I'm not too concerned about the story, since we're talking about Bioware here - at least they can write a story and have memorable characters.

1. Basic gameplay - I understand the cover system has been improved, as have the controls. ME1 had a solid control scheme, so I'd like to see how they made it better.

2. Character development - From the screenshots one can see that they overhauled the entire skill system. I'm a bit apprehensive about the new one since I fear it might have been dumbed down. Time will tell.

3. Planetary exploration / minigames - I liked the Mako. I'm probably the only one in the world, but I enjoyed it. I understand why they decided to remove it, but now I'm worried I might not like the new planetary exploration systems/minigames they put in.

4. Equipment system - As I understand it, you no longer constantly find better guns and armor, but rather upgrade and customize your equipment, along with a research/manufacturing system. This could be a great thing, especially since I saw a movie that showed the player designing their own armor. This could mean I'll never have to wear pink again, just because it has the best stats...

As a rule: I don't trust the internet to formulate any opinion on a game. Way too many bought blow horns and overly critical Yahtzee-wanna-bees. I do trust one game magazine:pelit [http://www.pelit.fi/], because it's not international and doesn't come in english!
You can trust the magazine that published that review. They are completely independant and very well informed on games, its the only magazine I buy. I think the quote is misleading and probably makes perfect sense in the actual review

That's reassuring :)

Waarg. I keep killing myself by going into these threads and having no money to buy the game myself. Its like wanting a chicken sanwich and then going to a deli. Its not nice. I didn't know it was overhyped as TV nowadays is 99% shit, so I don't watch it. Don't go to major gaming sites either, so I guess its my own fault.

Internet reviews are opinionated, so the scores mean nothing to me. Look through the bias to see what you like in a game.

Totally logical reason to trust an opinion.
These kind folks have been giving me their opinion since 1992, and in those few years I have decided that they know what they are talking about. Or, at least say it straight out when they think that "so and so will probably appeal more to people who also like >>insert gaming genre niche<<"

In comparison everyone else is new and still looking to prove that I should listen to them in the first place.

well if it's a real review, they broke the embargo and will get in trouble (review copies of the game have been out for a couple weeks now, but they're not supposed to post reviews until midnight of the 25th)

Bioware is nothing if not consistent. I loved ME1, and would be surprised if ME2 doesn't AT LEAST equal that experience. I'm gonna avoid reviews so I don't run into spoilers.
