OT- Err yeah, I just see it as a attempt to be more hip to the current trends of things like they did with Loony Toons with the "Unleashed".

Loved the bit where Dastardly is AT the finish line and Muttly kinda points out that they could just win

Call me crazy, but this little question popped into my head while reading everything and it's still echoing...

"For what reason is there NOT a racing game of this?"

I mean, c'mon - you could make it like Mario Kart: getting power-ups throughout the race that gives each of the different drivers their "wacky" abilities. You could also make it a points driven system to encourage using the power ups instead of just straight up winning the race; kind of like Devil May Cry's style system, the more you use your driver's/vehicle's abilities, the better your score will be. Combine that with your placing to get your overall score. And of course, have each of the vehicles with different driving styles and have unlockables that feature alternate costumes and such.

Like the OP's...um...picture thing, yeah...
