I saw a kid probably no older than 6 years, got hit by a car turning into a side road from the main road. The car was already turning, the kid ran into the road, his father was about 10m behind him. Fortunately the car was traveling slowly, otherwise it would have red wheels to match its paint.

When I was in a grocery store parking lot walking to my car I saw a van backing up, obviously he didn't see me or my friend walking so we kind of go off to the side and wait for him to go. He then backs up really fast and before we can react we get a nice face full of van. It knocked us both over and caused a few cuts and bruises but in all honesty it was funny as hell.

I was heading to my brother at around 5 pm to help him with something. Around this time of day, it's dark here where I live.

I see this car coming up from a side road and he started to slow down for me, which he has to. On my right before I was in the intersection, I saw this cyclist.

You probably know it yourself how you sometimes play out possible scenarios in your head. I did so too and I imagined the car not stopping for the cyclist.

As I went past the intersection, I looked in my rear-view mirror and to my horror, I saw the car slamming right into the cyclist and heard a clear "thump" as he did so.

It was totally surrealistic and weird. I didn't think I would see anything like that ever, but now I did.

The cyclist did have lights on and it was totally the car driver's fault. Nothing serious happened, I think.

Do you have any similar experiences?
umm unless he ran into the cyclist while the cyclist was using a crossroad to cross from one sidewalk to another then its the cyclists fault.

bicycles dont have a space on the road. no not even in the bike lane america loves to add to every street. so if the biker was on the road, then he should consider going on the sidewalk next time.

maybe he learned a lesson from it.

I was in a car in the backseat and I wasn't paying attention outside since I was busy with my phone. This was back when I was in junior high. My dad was driving. Anyways suddenly the car suddenly swerved and stopped and I slammed into the back of the driver's seat. Feeling dazed, I looked up and saw a little girl running away from the front of the car and onto the sidewalk where a woman, whom I presumed was her mother, promptly grabbed her by the arm and slammed her against a fence and starting yelling at her.
Later on my dad explained that he was driving normally, and the girl and her mother was just walking on the sidewalk when all of a sudden the girl spontaneously decided to jump onto the middle of the street right in front of us and STARTED DANCING. WTF? I kid you not. My younger sister and my dad saw it, but I didn't. Seriously, wtf? What was the girl thinking? She looked about 10 years old or so..really young..I still can't figure out what made her act that way, unless she had mental issues.
I got really angry after that and was kinda hoping that my dad really DID run over the girl (okay, that sounded kinda evil, but really, I think she deserved it). But I'm glad he didn't and he barely just missed her--if he did he would have gotten a fine or gone to jail or something..idk, but if that happened, I'd go and strangle the girl myself for being such a stupid *****. *deep breath, calms down* I was pleased when I saw the girl getting yelled at by her mom though. She very much deserved it.

My dad saw a guy on a motorcycle get run over. He was sent flying and I believe he might have broken his neck... My dad got over it eventually, but it's still a pretty dramatic experience.
Did you mean to say traumatic experience?

In this case, the car has to give way to the cycles. The road the cyclist was on is sort of a main road and the car came from a side road. It is totally the car's fault. There's even a flat grass area right before the intersection so it's very easy to see any cyclists in good time.

Another experience I had was on vacation in Norway.

This car is backing on a parking lot, and because the side walk was completely covered in snow, most people walked on the parking lot.

This family of a mother, father, and 2 children getting carried on a sled walk past the backing car.

Apparently, the car hadn't seeen the 2 children on the sled and continued to back. He came closer and closer to the children, who could easily fit under the car.

Suddently, the mother starts screaming because the children now are a few centimeters from getting completely run over. Finally he stopped the car and the children starts crying because I think they got hit and they paniced because they're mother cried.

I was walking right beside it. It was soooo scary and I really feared for the children.

Once when I was 7 or 8 years old I saw a hit and run accident. The car that got hit was about 20 meters in front of us on the road. The car that caused the accident was in the center of the road. He hit the side of the other car, kept in control and kept going. When the car was hit, it did a 360 on the road. It didn't flip over, it just spun around. Thankfully no one was hurt, they were just shook up a little.
On a different occasion, I was in the car with my family when we pulled up to an intersection. There was a woman lying unconscious in the middle of the intersection. The owner of a nearby store called 911 while my dad, who was an EMT went out to check on the person. The woman was actually just kind of crazy. She was just faking being unconscious.

Last year I was on vacation in Maryland and this guy fell off his moped in the middle of the street. This is a BUSY street and everyone's going fast. I really was expecting to see the 19-ish year old loose his life in a disturbing bloody accident. Yet somehow there weren't any cars coming when he fell off. Kid just got back on his bike and laughed with his buddies who were also renting mopeds. Lucky kid, he was. I guess Azura or somebody was looking out for him.

I did the same thing, except it was a car backing down a street, and a car coming up my street. Car backed into car, and sped off.

(yes it was a female driver and i am now of the opinion that females should not be allowed behind the wheel)
Really now? So the rather high proportion of male drivers between 18 and 35 who cause accidents should be excused because they're male? Being female doesn't make someone a bad driver. Being stupid on the road does. Don't tar a sex as being shitty drivers just because one of them did something idiotic. It's similar to this XKCD comic actually. ...I once saw a drive-by.

Other than that.....is the guy okay? My friend's brother got hit by a car once. A broken arm, but other than that nothing happened too bad
I suppose. There was no ambulances or fuss, but I drove off when the driver got out of his car. Besides, the car had just slowed down because I approached earlier, so it wasn't a 50 km/h impact. It still looked as though it was a movie.

I had physics with someone who was run over by a car because he ran out behind a bus without looking. He had to be in a wheelchair for 2 months and broke several things. He recovere fully, though. It was quite funny how we calculated how much force he was hit with and how fast the car was driving by looking at how far he flew :p

Once I hit a swan on the motorway. I was getting loads of funny looks as I was driving after that, and when I stopped, I realised why. My door panels were completely covered in blood and feathers.

Well I once saw a marching granny that just entered the street like a fucking tank not watching around. Unfortunatelly a guy on a motor slammed in her full speed so hard that she jumped out of her shoes. Seems like she wasn't as durable as a tank. What actually got me sadder than an old woman dying on the street in her own blood, was this man on a motor crying for help.

So I took out my phone, called an ambulance, made some pictures and listened to what she was trying to say (couldn't make anything out of it, maybe she was just crying or something). LAter on her grandson came just as medics were puting her in a bag. That went somehing like "grandma? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" pretty fucking movie like.

Later that night I decided that making pictures and movies of dying people was somewhat immoral and deleted them. Gosh I wish I wasn't so cold.

I've had a car overtake me on my bike and stop, hit the back of it and landed on the bonnet.

Had a brake cable snap, almost lacerate(?) my calf and crashed.

Observed similar incidents first hand, no, had incidents, yes, oh science yes.
