Right now I'm playing through Batman: Arkham City, already beat the main game, Batmans challenges, and Harley Quinns revenge and earned all the respective trophies..Just finished Catwomans Ranked Challanges and I've finished her first four campaigns, then on to Robin and Nightwing.
The two times I've tried to finish 100% that game, I've always burnt myself out. The first time, it was because I was trying to go through the challenge maps after having played the story through twice (normal & New Game+). The second, it was because I tried to go through all the challenge maps after having 100%'d the achievements for
Arkham Asylum and 99%'ing a save file in
Arkham Origins (didn't get 100% because I can't be effed playing the multiplayer so I was missing a few character trophies/game art or something--unfortunately a lot of the achievements for that game are tied into the multiplayer or DLC as well).
So I'm stuck with like, 75% of the achievements for
Arkham City right now as I just haven't been bothered doing all of those combat and stealth maps over and over again because some of those Extreme challenges are really bloody annoying.
I have been getting the hankering to play the games again because of all the comics I've been reading lately, though.
OT: At the moment I've largely been playing
Super Smash Bros. 3DS and
Shadow of Mordor. I'll probably see about picking up
Bayonetta 2 tomorrow.
I'm enjoying both of them, for the most part.
Smash Bros. is
Smash Bros., so by that token I find it a lot of fun, though there are still things I miss from previous iterations of the game. I really miss the Tournament mode from
Melee. It can be a little difficult to follow the action on the 3DS screen sometimes, but overall I think they did a pretty phenomenal job of it.
As for
Shadow of Mordor, it's not quite the game set in Middle Earth that I've been wanting for the past decade or so, and I'm generally predisposed to dislike open-world games on principle, but it's still a rather solid fantasy action game. I imagine once I start controlling Uruks and using them for my own ends I'll have a whale of a time with the game, but right now I've mostly just been doing collectibles and side stuff because I like seeing world maps clean of excess "thing" markers.
