I'm playing though the new Delta Rising release for Star Trek: Online, and Hyrule Warriors. I've beaten the Legend Mode in Hyrule Warriors and am working on the Adventure Mode. Some of the missions are HARD.
I've got Bolt and The Dreamer now and I'm working on Kudzu. I'm still not certain about getting one of the legendary greatswords. The effects are nice, but I just don't like the weapon models. Bit too crude.Silvanus said:Alien: Isolation, and (my mainstay) Guild Wars 2. I finished Crysis 3 about a month ago, that was my last. Loving Alien: Isolation so far.
Which ones y'got, if you don't mind my asking?GundamSentinel said:Guild Wars 2, as usual. Busy with my third legendary.
Nice choices. Kudzu is brilliant. The greatswords don't attract me, personally; too many people have 'em, and I don't like the change they made to Twilight's footfall effect (little glowy orbs above the night-sky bit... hard to describe).GundamSentinel said:I've got Bolt and The Dreamer now and I'm working on Kudzu. have you started being so aware of noises and sounds when you stop playing yet?Bitter Hobbit said:Shadow of Mordor is getting most of my attention at the moment. Really am enjoying this game although it has been annoying me a little bit a times it's alot of fun.
I'm also playing Alien Isolation although I've had the game since launch and am only at mission 5, it's a great scary game but it's not a game I'm in the mood to play after a days work, I want to relax and Alien just tenses me up and has me on the edge of the seat, which is exactly what it's supposed to do and when I do play the game I'm glad it does scare me like that. I really do wanna spend more time with this game, maybe my next day off I'll try and pull a all nighter on it, that'll be fun.
I'm also looking at my PSVita at the moment and thinking of spending a little time with that, either FF7 again, Blood Omen again or one of the many games I've got for it of plus, who knows.
how are you finding the new expansion? the patrol missions are definite padding and they screwed up stf's but otherwise not too bad in my opinion.canadamus_prime said:I'm playing though the new Delta Rising release for Star Trek: Online, and Hyrule Warriors. Curse Anet for making the underwater legendaries so nice! A guildie of mine is trying to get Kraitkin and I'm sorely tempted to get one as well.Silvanus said:Nice choices. Kudzu is brilliant. I'm a little torn, now, about what my second should be. I love Frenzy to bits, but nobody would see an underwater legendary, and I'm a little wary of clipping issues (the damn fin clips through her arm!) [http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Frenzy_(weapon).jpg]. The other option, I suppose, would be to wait for new ones... but I may be waiting for years.
The challenge rooms work better if you play maybe just an hour or so at a time then take a break, its easy to get frustrated especially with Catwoman, a lot of her Predator maps involve luck, her combat is fun though. The first time, it was because I was trying to go through the challenge maps after having played the story through twice (normal & New Game+). The second, it was because I tried to go through all the challenge maps after having 100%'d the achievements for Arkham Asylum and 99%'ing a save file in Arkham Origins (didn't get 100% because I can't be effed playing the multiplayer so I was missing a few character trophies/game art or something--unfortunately a lot of the achievements for that game are tied into the multiplayer or DLC as well).Soxafloppin said:Right now I'm playing through Batman: Arkham City, already beat the main game, Batmans challenges, and Harley Quinns revenge and earned all the respective trophies..Just finished Catwomans Ranked Challanges and I've finished her first four campaigns, then on to Robin and Nightwing.
So I'm stuck with like, 75% of the achievements for Arkham City right now as I just haven't been bothered doing all of those combat and stealth maps over and over again because some of those Extreme challenges are really bloody annoying.
I have been getting the hankering to play the games again because of all the comics I've been reading lately, though.
I am currently playing X-com- EW.The_Blue_Rider said:X-Com: Enemy Unknown: I recently picked this game up for free thanks to a GOTY awards thing I voted in, and they were also nice enough to send me a code for 80% off the expansion Enemy Within. I havent played EW yet, however EU is really, really good. Its tough (especially the final room of the final area, Im almost inclined to say that room is total bullshit.), yet generally fair, with just enough random chance to make things interesting. You form a real connection with your squad as you grow in strength and barely scrape out a victory over a tough enemy. I really cant wait to start EW, any expansion to this already fantastic game is welcome, and with large mods such as Long War available, this is going to occupy me for a while.
Yeah, in Arkham City I really like the way all of the characters play largely the same but still feel tangibly different. Though it can really screw things up when you're used to the flow of Batman's combat and then you jump into trying Nightwing. I haven't bought the expansion yet. Get Spec ops : the line as soon as possible then if you feel like you want to take part in a epic quest , get Dragon age origins which is much better than mass effect in every way (personal opinion) . Haven't played the rest.Auron225 said:Remember Me - it's pretty fun. Basically Uncharted movement mechanics with Arkham Asylum combat, with a memory-based plot. I was a tad disappointed recently to find out that it was shorter than I previously thought.
I need to pick something else up soon though. Anyone want to make a recommendation from the following?
- Tales of Xillia (Played and loved Tales of Graces)
- FF13: Lightning Returns (Played FF13 & 13-2... alright overall, tempted to finish it all off)
- Dragon Age Origins (Just finished Mass Effect series - I hear it's similar, but fantasy rather than space)
- Sly Cooper series (I hear good things all in all - never played any of them)
- Uncharted 3 (Played the first 2 - pretty good fun)
- Ni no kuni: Wrath of the White witch (I like Studio Ghibli & RPG's)
- Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages (Never played a handheld Zelda game before but I hear these ones are good)
- Spec Ops: The Line (Not normally a fan of military shooters, but that's why I'm curious about this one)
- White Knight Chronicles (It's an RPG... that's all I know)
- Shadow of the Colossus (I really liked ICO)
-
- EDIT: Almost forgot... Persona Series (I hear very good things)
I'd say play Shadow of the Colossus, if only because it's very short. Even if you take it slow, 8 hours should see you through it and it might well be one of the greatest gaming experiences you'll find. It was for me. :3Auron225 said:I need to pick something else up soon though. Anyone want to make a recommendation from the following?
