So, what team are you using in Pokemon X and Y?

If you're still playing the story mode, list that team. If you've moved on to online, list your main team for online play.

As for me, I just finished up a team I plan to use online very soon:

Slowbro
Donphan
Absol
Togekiss
Ferrothorn
Klefki

Just gotta get one last Leftovers, and I'm set.
Klefki really is an amazing lead with that prankster and it's ability to set hazards, weather and whatever else you choose up, all whilst being able to heal itself with draining kiss and having good defences.

I'm using

Klefki
Ludicolo
Toxicroak
Gengar
Dragalge
Goodra

For online, it's a half assed attempt at a raint eam that can't be neutered by opposing weather (Toxicroak once setup essentially checks Tyranitar (drain punch) and Abomasnow (drain punch, poison jab), and Hippowdon and Ninetails really just don't want to take Ludicolo's STAB attacks or Goodras coverage, nor neutral hits from Gengar)

It does need some tweaking and Dragalge is a touch redundant, Qwilfish could be a fun otpion in the rain as a toxic spiker and exploder. Dragalges main function is to spread burns and toxic whilst phazing with dragon tail to rack up spikes damage.

It's not a serious competitive team, just a fun one, been using it around the Injustice League a bit to good success. Turns out Xerneas vs Gengar always ends with Gengar dancing on it's corpse if Gengar is packing sludge bomb.

Not the best team, but I'm not big on competitive battling anyway. It's weird my favorite type(dragon) isn't there at the moment, even though I used Tytantrum for my main game. I probably would've used Zygarde too if I liked it more.
I don't get Zygarde. It's ability is largely useless and it's pretty much outclassed in anything it can try to do by Garchomp....

I'll just give ya my story playthrough team, I've finished the story, but haven't done much team building yet.

Heracross.
Yanmega. (shiny!)
Vespiquen.
Florges.
Chesnaught.
Clawitzer.

Retired members: Slurpuff, Dunsparce, Dragalge, Goodra. As you can see, I don't give many craps when it comes to building a team with a good spread of types when it comes to the main portionof the game. I just use what I like that I haven't trained yet. I'd trained a Yanmega, but how can you resist a shiny!?

At the minute, I have a very good Shiny Pinsir, am hoping to masuda a badass Scrafty with iron head, drain punch and dragon dance once the bank shows up, and I've taken an interest in chaining a shiny Litleo since I like female Pyroar so much. The jowls make it look really cool when it uses a non-contact move. I've never been a big fan of Scizor, more of a Scyther kind of guy, personally, but I'd like a Shiny one to send out alongside my Heracross and Pinsir, I'd nickname them "Mighty" (Heracross) Morphin' (Pinsir) and "Pwr Rangers!" (Scizor), because they all look like robots!

And If I get owned, I need something to be my MEGAZORD!!!

Zygarde was an all around disappointment. Not a bad Pokemon, but I don't care its design, and like you said, there are lots of better dragons available to use.

Feel like having a battle? I finished my team today, tried it out once, and it seems to be working.

Welp, I decided to make multiple teams though I only have 1 properly leveled as it is my main team:

(lvl 77) Greninja aka Tough M8. Move set: Hydro Cannon, Night Slash, Surf, Thief. Item: Amulet Coin. Role: Money maker (his nature makes it so that his Sp. Attack is weak but his speed is high as hell, so I mostly use him only when pokemon weak to his type come out).

(lvl 77) Raichu aka Tony Spark. Move set: Nuzzle, Thunderbolt, Electro Ball, Quick Attack. Item: Rocky Helmet. Role: Capture Pokemon (Nuzzle to paralyze, Quick Attack to inflict small damage and Rocky Helmet to add to that damage when they use a physical move makes him a powerhouse at catching pokemon, hell it's how I got my shiny Chatot).

(lvl 77) Charizard aka Hard Karnt. Move set: Fly, Flare Blitz, Flamethrower, Blast Burn. Item: Charizardite Y. Role: Sp. Attack master (Mega Charizard + ANY of those fire moves = bye bye to most pokemon).

(lvl 77) Vespiqueen aka Get Buzzed. Move set: Heal Order, Toxic, Attack Order, Air Slash. Item: Leftovers. Role: Dark type master (I have no Fighting or Fairy types, so Vespiqueen is my only powerhouse when it comes to getting rid of them. Her attack is also boosted by her nature so Attack Order does a nice deal of damage even to pokemon that it's not super effective against).

(lvl 77) Aegislash aka Cut u Bro. Move set: Cut, Shadow Claw, Iron Head, Shadow Ball. Item: Spell Tag. Role: Fairy destroyer/capture pokemon 2 (Thanks to it's steel type and it having the second highest attack stat on my team I dominated the Fairy gym without getting into the yellow once. Also, cut had to be there, it's a fucking sword...and it helps for doing low damage to pokemon I want to capture).

(lvl 77) Tyrantrum aka Get Wrecked. Move Set: Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Crunch, Rock Slide. Item: Hard Stone. Role: His name says it all, he is the absolute destroyer of all things in his path. He has the highest Attack stat, second highest Defense stat, can sweep the floor of all pokemon whom have faced him and he's a mother fucking T-Rex.

Reason for the stupid names, me and a friend always have a competition to see who can make the most suited name that's also just weird or dumb for a laugh. It's become a lot tougher now that swear words can't be used, so that's why there are names like, "Hard Karnt" (supposed to be Hard ****). This is what happens when you live in Australia and have had 18 seasons of summer fry your brain.

Special mention to some teams I'm building (in spoilers to save space)

Floette, Snover, Larvitar, Fletchinder, Lapras, Lucario.

Combusken, Pawniard, Noibat, Eevee, Gothita, Carbink.

Bagon, Wobbuffet, Slugma, Sneasel, Snorlax, Hawlucha.

Fennekin, Gible, Shiny Chatot, Trevenant, Spinarak, Poliwag

Goomy, Espurr, Binacle, Steelix, Electrike, Golett

Deino, Scatterbug, Carvanha, Helioptile, Litleo, Skiddo

Dratini, Bergmite, Nidorino, Staravia, Mareep, Heracross

I have 2 more teams to make. As for the large amount of teams, a different friend wanted me to prove that it was possible to make 10 teams that were all good enough to beat the entire game. He put down 50 dollars as well, so now I gotta do it!

It's been a long time since I've played in order for battling people (keep in mind I was 12 and couldn't give a shit about the no legendary rule), but the old team I had for that (all level 100s) is Swampert, Mewtwo, Blaziken, Rayquaza, Shiny Deoxys, Lugia.

Delphox (psychic plate)
blastoise (mega)
Pangoro (black belt)
Sylveon (luck incense)
tyrantrum (i have no idea.)
either aegislash or abomasnow, not sure which to use.

Honourable mention: pickup the diggersby, who i used as a slave and item finder for early game. currently sitting in his box. alone. once found 2 hyper potions in a row, so maybe i'll give him some ditto to mess with.

Dishonourable mention: salamence. spent most of the game training him up, only for him to reveal his true form as a terrible pokemon with terrible moves. sitting in a box with all my fairy and ice types.

I found the E4 to be super easy this time through. He I was training for a week JUST to think I was going to lose to the E4.
Turns out otherwise.
My team was comprised of

Florges. That base SP. def is beastly
Aegisblade. Come on. Form change? I can spam swords dance and rofl stomp people!
Hawlucha. The weakest link of my team =/
Greninja. With a base speed higher than Infernape's.. Of course I was going with him!
Jolteon. Gotta love my weird pokemon here. Thunderbolt, light screen, HP ice (holding ice gem)with heal bell. Nice thing to have and throws people off by a mile XD
Volcarona. Because I need a fire type, and who better than the inferno itself?

This team resisted at least one of every type that could be thrown at me.

Of course, a majority of these aren't complete yet... Half finished, need to wait for that darned pokebank =/

As of this moment, I have:

Level 59, holding an Everstone.

Knows Return, Flame Charge, Aerial Ace and Sky Uppercut.

He's my main headliner, since Torchic was always my favorite starter. In fact, I traded the event Torchic to a friend (Thank you, @Pappytech), so I could nickname him. It helps that I didn't care about the Blazikenite, and I'm planning on keeping him a Combusken.

Level 54, holding an Amulet Coin.

Knows Cut, Extrasensory, Water Shuriken and Surf.

He's Fahrenheit's backup, for the time being anyway. Out of the starters, Froakie seemed the best choice, especially since Greninja complements Combusken so well: Water being strong against Fire, yet Fighting strong against Dark, so they cover each others weaknesses, in some areas.

Level 54.

Knows Magical Leaf, Psychic, Dazzling Gleam and Teleport.

Since Ruby, Gardevoir has always been my Psychic of choice, and now with the dual-typing of Psychic/Fairy, it was a no-brainer, particularly with Ralts being a quick catch after Santalune. Teleport is also a very handy out-of-battle move to have, in case you need to get to a Pokemon Center quick. She covers some of the Special Attacker Heavy-Hitting, particularly against pesky Dragons and Dark Types.

Level 53, holding a Black Belt.

Knows Return, Aura Sphere, Shadow Claw and Bone Rush.

I originally caught Anubis as a Riolu right outside Santalune, with the sole purpose of using Pokemon Amie, particularly since I wasn't a fan of Lucario, but the little guy grew on me, and has earned his place on my team. Teaching him Return too simply made sense, what with his evolution being dependent on high Friendship.

Level 54, holding the Rocky Helmet.

Knows Strength, Crunch, Dragon Claw and Earthquake.

The King. Like Anubis, I originally only kept my Tyrunt to bolster my team, though in Elvis' case, to also be something of an HM vehicle. But, as a Tyrunt, he grew on me too, and now as a Tyrantrum, he's The King, and if I ever need something bitten in half with Crunch, or squashed underfoot with Earthquake, he's my go-to Pokemon.

Level 29, holding the Lucky Egg.

Knows Wing Attack, Fly, Pursuit and Astonish.

A late addition that needs to be trained up, Godmother was always going to be on my team since Honchkrow was always my Flying type of choice, particularly since I'm fond of Dark type Pokemon. I usually roleplay as a fan of Team Rocket. While she is mostly a vehicle for the Fly HM for now, she's the sixth Pokemon I've caught, filling the team so far.

I have plans to eventually catch a Corphish/Crawdaunt (Nicknamed Jawbreaker) to possibly replace Kama as my Water/Dark type, a Clauncher (Nicknamed Desperado) to be the vehicle for the Water HM's, a Sneasel (Nicknamed Celsius) to further add to the Dark types on my team, and possibly a Banette (Nicknamed Puppeteer) to fill the role of Ghost type since I can't have my beloved Misdreavus/Mismagius.

What? I like Arcanine alright? I can give him various 'fang' moves to make up for type disadvantage most of the time. Its not like I need an actual competitive team to beat the game and battling other people has such a strict meta I tend to avoid it.

This is solely for singleplayer fucking around (I just got to Victory Road):

Blaziken
Aegislash
Venusaur
Greninja
Tyrantrum
Sylveon

in order of "serial killer"est to "I love it anyway"est. Sylveon is adorable as fuck but it has a terrible offensive movepool (Moonblast is it, really). Blaziken is so goddamn overpowered that I only rarely use it. Plus it's mystery gifted so it gains EXP 1.5x faster, so if I want all my Mons roughly the same level, I have to use it less. Aegislash is really fun, Venusaur is better than I remember, Greninja is kinda standard for a water starter (why does its signature move have to be so awesome but also physical? and why doesn't it learn any special dark moves?), and Tyrantrum is a T-Rex with a beard - there is really nothing else to say about it.

In order to get the full experience of all the new Pokemon my team consists of Gen six only Pokemon, they're.

Greninja
Tyrantrum
Goodra
Aegislash
Malamar
Talonflame

The team has turned out quite well, Goodra defenses are amazing with super effective moves like ice beam and Moon blast barely even scratch it. TalonFlame and Greninja are excellent revenge killers.

However my overall favorite team member is Aegislash, who is pretty much designed to take out the fairy type thanks to it's 380 attack stat whilst in sword form so far there isn't a fairy alive that's taken an iron head from this thing survived.

Game wise I've done a lot beaten the main story, the side quests and I've obtained the Grand Duke title at the Battle Chateau. Now I spend most of my time at the battle maison collecting BPs for items and occasionally look for mega stones.

Finally I've got a Team B in the works, the team will consist of one Pokemon from each region and the Pokemon from Kalos has to be one that I haven't used in my in game team.

Team I assembled through the main game:

Charizard called Odahviing (with Charizardnite X)
Lucario called Rio (which I caught as a Riolu as soon as possible. Fuck you, story Lucario.)
Tyranitar called Deano (for a friend of mine. Ironically however, Deano is female)
Lapras called Loch
Raichu called lil Thor
Salamence called Drago

The team I started training post Elite 4:

Poliwrath called Spiral
Espeon (still needs a nickname. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It's male.)
Crobat called Brobat
Metagross called Zero
Garchomp called NoamChompsky
Arcanine called Bramble (after my dog)

I think a few of mine will be overused... also I have more than 6 cuz I just like training pokemon and mixing up new combinations to play with.

Aegislash
Defense wall/attacker
(I'd actually seen a lot of sweepers and just gone the opposite, moving last really works well for this pokemon, plus gyroball decimates sweepers even without super effective)

Sylveon
Special Wall, mixed HP and SPAtk
(Working sometimes, the overuse of fairies mean it's countered a lot being part of that group), generally if there isn't a steel type it becomes invincible)

Greninja
Special Sweeper, I dunno why others are going physical sweeper, it's got an alright special movepool.

Garchomp
Physical Sweeper

Chandelure
Special Sweeper

Kefleki
Field setter

Cloyster
Sweeper/Field clearer, especially good now kefleki is so overused.

Talonflame
Physical Sweeper

Alakazam
Duo Partner, Trick room user, Shadow Ball. He is generally a great counter to Aegislash in duos.

Looking round for some good wall/sweeper combo's to go with Alakazam. ATM... just thinking bout it.

My team in order of when I got them is:
Vivi the Delphox
Sandy the Beedrill
Terran the (mega) Venasaur
Bismarck the Wailmer
Seath the Goodra
Sorrow the Murkrow
I've only played a few matches online, but those that I have won have mostly been because of Sorrow, Prankster + Swagger + Focus Sash + Foul Play = amazing. Also I love the super training feature, my team was pretty much able to blitz the entire game because of it.

MEh, I'm not interested in online competitive in this type of game. But I do have a team I'd love to call my own. Maybe it's quite nonsensical, but eh, don't mind that.

Chesnaught
Blastoise
Delphox
Gardevoir
Garchomp
Jolteon

Pretty big on the SP ATK there. However, the elite 4 and the champion were not difficult to beat with this team. That Gardevoir at the end though was pretty obnoxious.

So, I'm still leveling at the moment but my lineup looks like this

Venusaur
Fletchinder
Helioptile
Tyrunt
Poliwhirl (is it a water stone you need for that bad boy, by the way, or a trade?)
and my personal favotire, Maramil, the psycic dark parrot owl thing. I just love how sweet the pokedex entry is for inkay, then how insanely evil it turns when he evolves!
